Kendra Cole is an Old-Fashioned Gonzo Girl

But she had to work her way up to it, she admitted. “I think my first anal was for Joanna Angel, for Burning Angel,” Cole recalled for AVN. “And it was very tight and it was—my body was getting a lot of like tingly sensations, more than pleasure sensations. “But now that I am—I consider myself more anal pro—that is; I stretch out properly and it’s a pleasure and, like, I can squirt from anal. Maybe she’s a little low key because she doesn’t spend a whole bunch of time on social media trying to raise her profile. “I don’t know how to make social media because I’m so busy just being horny. I gotta put my horny efforts towards the proper socials,” she said, laughingly. She said that since the pandemic, there’s a lot more focus on building brands and social media. But Cole subscribes to an old-fashioned notion of adult stardom, where the proof is in the sexual performance. “I don’t want to say older but, in general, let’s say an earlier generation of star. It’s like COVID really opened up the homemade porn,” Cole said matter-of-factly. “I think they don’t like sex as much as the OG porn stars do. And I’m, they might not call me an OG porn star, but I’m in that mindset of like, I want to fuck all the time.” “There’s a really good niche for homemade porn, too, but I don’t think we should keep merging them both. Then some people are finding out [hardcore performance] is not meant for them. And there’s this backlash towards our industry when it shouldn’t necessarily be directed at us,” the gonzo star opined. “’Cause we were setting out—it’s a professional hardcore job. But somehow those lines are starting to get blurred and everybody thinks that they can do it. And then when they can’t, they get mad and blame our industry.” Cole agreed that since she started, there have been many improvements to adult production sets as the industry has expanded and become more user-friendly. But for her—let it be known—she’s here for the sex at professional levels. “I think safety and, like, information has gotten better—but I’m not sure that all the performers are here for the same reasons they used to be. ‘Cause we used to know that, like, you might never get another job. So, if you were here, you were here for some reason,” she explained. “But now it seems like a fad, almost a big trend to be a porn star. I’m not sure if it’s going to stay that way or not, but I miss sex fiends, like, actual sex fiends who want to cum. I want to cum at least ten times. Like I’m not a one-and-done girl.” “I love a good set. I love performing on a big camera in front of a room full of people and they go, ‘Wow, look at them go at it,’” Cole added. That’s not to say Cole is against appearing in narrative-based scenes and scripted projects. She’s appeared in vignettes and enjoys stretching her improv skills. “I just wanted to be gonzo. I just didn’t think I wanted to do mainstream acting or Hollywood acting, even. I just wanted to do the sex. But after a while something clicked and I just kind of… like the nerves of what to say kind of broke off,” Cole confessed, “and now I kind of crave it. I like bantering off another performer. I love doing a JOI with another girl, just even non-scripted, just going off of each, improv a scene. I love that. “I just did that for Team Skeet with Ryan Mclane. We haven’t seen each other for ten years. I was actually a fill-in. I wasn’t supposed to be there that day, but I’m happy that I was. That happens sometimes, huh? Some of the best [scenes] work out that way,” the adult star confided. Underneath her delicate, petite frame lurks a sexual onslaught, and Cole has grown more confident and is feeling in her porn star era. “If I was, like, cute back in the day, I’ve really come into that Hollywood hot girl vibe.
