Ultra-Glam Studio Brand Luxeplayhouse Opens Doors |
|
This feature appears in the July issue of AVN magazine. LOS ANGELESâIn development for roughly two years, the highly stylized and ambitious adult pay-site Luxeplayhouse has officially rolled out the red carpet and opened for business. Created by husband-and-wife team Anthony and Sarah Realm, Luxeplayhouse enters the triple-X stage offering an impressive portfolio of more than a dozen richly cinematic erotic showpieces, with many more in the pipeline, starring some of the biggest names in adult, both U.S. and internationally basedâincluding reigning AVN Best New Starlet and Female Performer of the Year (respectively) Gal Ritchie and Anna Claire Clouds, 2024 AVN Female Performer of the Year Vanna Bardot, 2024 AVN International Female Performer of the Year Cherry Kiss, and likewise celebrated male heavyweights Seth Gamble, Isiah Maxwell and Vince Karter. But those arenât the only stars of this Playhouse; no, each and every one of the escapades offered up here prominently incorporates one or more extravagantly high-end automobilesâweâre talking Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, Maseratis, you name it. So how did Luxeplayhouse get built? It all started, believe it or not, with a personal ... predilection of the Realmsâ. As Anthony tells it, trading impish glances with Sarah, âWe love having sex in cars. Our friendsâ cars, our own cars, rental cars were the best. We would be in sports cars, Mini Coopers.â âWe donât discriminate,â Sarah interjects. âIf you think about it, even our grandparents had sex in cars,â Anthony continues. âOur parents had sex in cars in the â50s, â60s, whatever, and itâs always been that challenge of how weâre going to do it.â âAnd not getting caught,â Sarah adds. âAnd all the mishaps that happenâlike, you hit the horn, or you hit a pedal, itâs just awful. But fun.â Beyond that innate thrill element, however, Anthony muses, âIf you think about it, most guys, what do they talk about? Cars. Sports. Real estate. Business. But guys love cars. If you remember as a kid, even I myself, always wanted a Testarossa. It was always on my wall with a bikini girl from the â80s. I loved Miami Vice. âI ended up owning one,â he recollects. âNow, was it a piece of crap? Yes. I sold it, âcause it hurt my knee, no power steering, nothing.â âAnd it was difficult to have sex in,â Sarah notes. âVery, very,â Anthony agrees. âBut thatâs how the fantasy started, and I think sometimes, you know, ideas come from reality.â Of course, having an idea and bringing it to fruition are two things often worlds apart. âI have no experience with the film industry,â Anthony concedes. âI just, Iâve always been that person that had vision. Even when I used to build humongous homesâIâve built a lot of commercial properties, bars, thatâs my backgroundâI always had a vision, and one thing Iâve learned in life is that you can have all the money in the world ... if you donât have taste, youâre not going to be able to execute it. âI call it âequity sweat,ââ he goes on. âI love challenges. Itâs never been about money for me, I love challenges, and this business has been so challenging.â Another distinctive element of Luxeplayhouse productions is that rather than taking the fixed narrative route, each one is an interactive experience. Once the principal players have been introduced, âwe have a decision point,â Anthony explains. âThe talentâmost of the time itâs the girlâsheâll come to the camera, look at you eye-to-eye, and theyâll say, âHey, what do you think, now that weâre here? You see this amazing car, what do you want us to do? Should we fuck on the hood? Should we go have a surprise by the pool? And weâve done different kinds, usually weâll have pool this-and-that, weâll have different positions that they choose on a car.â âItâs a choose-your-own adventure,â Sarah encapsulates. As to how he and Sarah hope to position Luxeplayhouse, Anthony offers, âOur goal is by no means trying to change the industry, but we want to bring a little bit of class into this space. Look, you have two successful people, entrepreneurs in a whole different business, that came into this business with all these negative...â Sarah jumps in: âThereâs a lot of taboo around this industry, obviously, and he came in with a clear vision that he had in mind, and he was set on it, that heâs going to get the most expensive, unique cars, and heâs going to execute what he has in his mind, his vision. Iâm just the worker here.â Anthony quickly objects: âNo, no, she is the brain. She just doesnât like to be in the front seat. But sheâs the brain. Iâm actually in the passenger seat when we have sex in cars.â For more, visit Luxeplayhouse.com and follow the brand on X, @luxeplayhouse and @AnthonyRealmLA; and Instagram @luxeplayhouse_official.
