Fresh Faces: Yaya Gingersnatch

LOS ANGELES—Some starlets land in the business and it’s obvious they’ve arrived just right where they are supposed to be—and the unforgettably named Yaya Gingersnatch could be one of those. A natural redhead, Gingersnatch embodies the down-to-earth mama who is full of naughty fun despite (or maybe because of) being from a conservative, home-schooled background in Idaho. But it’s hard to keep an irrepressible personality like hers down, especially when all the girl wants to do is dance. “Like I said, Idaho doesn’t allow you to get naked. At all. They do slut shame very hard over there. Well, it’s very conservative. Idaho is very conservative. Oh my gosh,” Gingersnatch told AVN. “I was meeting up with another model. I think her name was Aubrey and she’s from Idaho, as well. And she’s like, ‘Yeah, yeah. They’ll give you the stare down.’ And if you talk about your sex life—I was considered, you know, disease-ridden because I fucked around, because I like to do the fucking. I have been a horny person from Day One. Yeah. I just had to restrain it because I was Mormon. Oh yeah.” So, Gingersnatch bikini-danced from Idaho to Eugene, Oregon, then stripped her way to Salem, eventually landing in pre-pandemic Portland, accompanied the whole time by her open-minded, but who she describes as “vanilla,” boyfriend. He was the one who suggested she might make a good adult performer. “He’s my vanilla guy. He doesn’t need sex as much as me. I drain the poor little sucker all the time and he’s just like, ‘Yeah, you have to go outside of the house to be able to get any more dick or pussy.’ He’s a sweetheart... a cutie patootie,” she said. “I did not plan on falling in love and he got me. Wasn’t that nice, though? I love him so much. To have somebody—yes, and be in love. “You know, I think people think people in this industry—that doesn’t happen for them. But you know, it does happen and sometimes they’re the best relationships. The most closest because you go through everything together. Everything. He was there day one. Like, he was there before I lost my virginity. He wasn’t the one that bumped my cherry. Luckily, actually, because I dropped that [guy like a] hot potato,” the starlet continued. “We’re an open couple since Day One. I had three other boyfriends at the time we met. So, he was like, ‘Yeah, you like sex so much. Why don’t you think about doing any other things?’ And I was like, ‘You mean like porn?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah, why not porn?’ “And I was like, ‘Yeah, I should try porn.’ And that’s when I had my very first scene, before the pandemic. And then nothing—it was right before shutdown time,” she recalled, of her first scene with Desperate Amateurs. During the pandemic, like many in isolation, Gingersnatch launched a ManyVids page but said she prefers working on production sets where she can bounce her sexual energy off the other actors. Since moving to Los Angeles in late 2023, she has appeared in scenes for Naughty America, Team Skeet, MILFY, DP Diva, and TadpoleVR, among others, and had an extra role in a Digital Playground production. For St. Patrick’s Day, she co-starred with Gal Ritchie and Danny Mountain in a holiday threesome scene, “Fuck Me, I’m Irish,” for Elegant Angel. Gingersnatch added that she’d love to try her hand at BDSM and work with Kink.com director JP, the Pope. “John Paul’s my idol. I’ve talked to his wife several times already.” Her favorite scene so far has been for psyops-themed site Mind Control Theater. “I love the odd ones. They put up such a fun atmosphere.
