Summer Style: Jenna Foxx Focuses on Expanding Her Brand

A version of this feature appears in the July issue of AVN magazine. Click here for the digital edition. LOS ANGELES—Jenna Foxx brings the "good times and smiles" whether she's on the set or walking the runway. So it's only fitting that's also her handle on TikTok.  "It’s my favorite app in the world—besides MySpace," Jenna jokes. "TikTok is kind of whatever I’m doing at the moment. I like to post funny videos and fashion stuff." Foxx tells AVN she is expanding her brand into mainstream circles this year without forgetting about the foundation she built in adult. "Little by little, I’m trying to get my name out there to a broader audience but I’m not dissing the industry that made me who I am today,” she says. Fans can spot the 27-year-old star stretching out in the Fabletics Motion365+ Short and No Bounce Bra and roller skating in the Women’s One Short—in images posted on the company’s Instagram page that had 1.9 million followers at press time. In addition to the splashy rollout on social media, the enterprising performer also appears on Fabletics’ in-store banners and in their promo mailers wearing various gym attire. Foxx also modeled for Harper Wilde, a women’s bra and intimates company in a campaign that has yet to be unveiled. “Honestly, it’s been amazing for me because it’s something I always wanted to do,” Jenna says. “And I kind of want it to be a small representation that we can cross over in this day and age and it’s not a bad thing to have us be a face for mainstream brands.” Jenna’s porn origin story is the stuff legends are made of. She worked as a stripper at Tootsie’s Cabaret for a year-and-a-half in Miami after graduating from high school. Then during her second year of dancing—in late 2015—she started her porn career after flashing her boobs when she was an extra in a bar scene for a Netflix movie called The Everglades Killings. She says the former owner of Reality Kings saw her ample assets and asked if she was interested in doing porn. Even though she hadn’t really thought of it, Jenna became intrigued with the idea and decided to come to the RK office for a casting. “They took photos and asked me, ‘When do you want to start?’” Foxx says. “I was dancing at the time, so I was already taking my clothes off.” Ready for her next adventure, Foxx lost her virginity on the set of her first porn scene for Reality Kings, working with Tarzan and Gabriel in a boy/girl/girl. Foxx told everyone involved she had never been with a man before that day. Undeterred, she played it calm and cool during the scene. “There were honestly no emotions,” she recalls. “I was going into it acting, like let’s do this. I’m an actress.” She says that Tarzan, aka T. Stone, was “a really sweet guy” during the scene. Flash forward to early 2016, when Foxx met her “girl crush” and adult industry idol—AVN Hall of Fame superstar Julia Ann. She remembers thinking how much she wanted to shoot with Julia Ann early on. “I was like listen, I just want to shoot with Julia Ann and I’ll be done,” Foxx says with a laugh. “I wanted to shoot with her so bad.” Girlfriends Films founder and director Dan O’Connell granted that wish, booking Jenna with Julia in a scene for Cheer Squad Sleepovers 17 that was released in 2016. “Then she became my porn mom and my bestie and we started to live together and then started to foster animals together,” Jenna says. “We’ve been close ever since.” Now Foxx, who has amassed more than 500 credits since her debut, says she has been focused primarily on lesbian scenes since the pandemic. She also is “very selective” with what she shoots. While girl/girl is her main focus, Foxx tells AVN she would entertain another boy/girl scene depending on the studio. “If it’s a company I like and if they have always respected me and my wishes, then I would consider it,” Jenna says. Foxx also became a free agent during the pandemic, realizing that she’s established her name and reputation enough that she can book her own studio work. “I’m well off in the industry so I don’t really need an agent [in adult],” says Foxx, who is signed with an agency for her mainstream endeavors. Known for carrying herself with professionalism on and off the set, Foxx is always looking for ways to raise her game. For example in 2021, Jenna enrolled in the Coco Rocha Model Camp with the desire to sharpen her skills and learn a few new ones. “That was fun during the pandemic,” she says. “I always wanted to do modeling as a kid and I wanted to know about that industry before going head first into it. Most of what I learned at the camp I already knew.” The New York-based camp not only offers training on how to pose better and make the most of your photoshoots, but it also explored the business side of modeling. Meanwhile, Jenna tells AVN she signed with Skyline Talent, an influencer management firm that is helping her diversify her network at various events. Foxx this summer is also turning her attention to her fashion boutique, Musee Kouture, a family business with her older sister and mom that is both an online store and brick-and-mortar location in Houston. She and her sister not only model the clothes, they also curate a wide selection of tops, dresses, bottoms, matching sets, jumpsuits, rompers, swimwear and outerwear. Sometimes they even create their own custom looks. “Depending on what we have we’ll make custom stuff,” Jenna says. “I come from a family of fashionistas. “We all like clothes and fashion and my mom does makeup and candles. I wanted to do something more with clothes.” Foxx describes Musee Kouture as street fashion. “And Houston street fashion is very different than LA Street fashion, so it’s very hard to curate the boutique with what still remains trendy but also being true to one’s self,” Jenna explains. “We want you to feel good in our clothing and be on trend.” She says her mom came up with the name Musee Kouture; their brick and mortar store is located at 6220 West Park Drive, Suite 239, in Houston. Foxx wants to further her acting career, too, this year. She recently appeared on an episode of “Dave” Season 3 on FXX. “I had a little speaking role. It was awesome, everyone was very respectable. No one touched me inappropriately. They had a liaison on set for all the girls that were topless to protect us,” she says. In the adult space, at press time she was preparing for Season 4 of Brazzers House that was scheduled to shoot at the end of June. In her free time, Jenna often streams on Twitch, playing games such as “Halo” or her favorite, “Alien.” She also is a dog mom, taking care of her Puggle, Mr. Grim. A self-described “country girl,” Foxx grew up riding horses and barrel racing. She became so skilled atop a horse that she can even ride bareback. “I love going back to Miami to a ranch and trail-riding,” she says. “That’s my favorite.” Photography courtesy of Fabletics & Jenna Foxx
