Full Bloom: The Many Shades of Violet Summers

This is the cover story of the July issue of AVN magazine. Click here for the digital edition. LOS ANGELES—Violet Summers admits there have been many times when she thought this winning streak wouldn’t last long. “Honestly, since the beginning I’m like, ‘Well this is probably the best it’s gonna get,’” Summers says. “But it always kind of gets better, so that I’ve been thankful for.” The 23-year-old content creator from Belton, Texas, started her career six years ago during a carefree cross-country road trip in which she flashed in front of everything from baseball stadiums to national monuments. Now the former car hop at Sonic has emerged as one of adult’s top independent models, pulling in six figures every month on OnlyFans while making another five figures on Nudiez—the private platform that started it all for her. “I’ve never noticed a crazy slope of an increase until March of 2020 when the pandemic hit,” Summers says. “It was so weird… That hit and everything just started blowing up. “I was making in the low six figures a year before the pandemic and then it just shot up to the millions.” Violet earned her first nomination for an AVN Award—in the Fan-Voted category of Favorite Creator Site Star—for the 40th annual show this past January in Las Vegas, where she also presented the first award of the evening along with Kylie Rocket and Ryan Reid. Now when she isn’t engaging with her fans online, the enterprising creator makes time for real estate investing, closing on three properties this year alone with another one in her sights before the end of summer. “It feels really good,” Violet says. “I really just want to set myself up for the future because I know I’m not going to be doing this forever.” It’s just after 2 p.m. on the second Friday of June and Violet already has meditated, worked out at the gym and painted the wall at one of her properties. Summers tells AVN she’s up to five since she bought her first house in September 2021—she is Airbnb’ing two of them, renting out two and living in the other one. “I am doing a content house for one of my houses and I’m just theming it out for my live streams and content creating,” Violet explains. “The ones I’m Airbnb’ing I also use for content and so I was like, let me just reserve one of these for me because I’m bouncing around a lot and I have a lot of equipment.” Summers bought all her recent houses in central Texas—an area she knows well. “I think location is a big thing,” says Violet, who recently sold another home she owned in Scottsdale, Arizona. “Airbnb is good over here but I soon want to venture out into like Dallas and the coast. “I want to stay in Texas for most of my properties because I just like investing in Texas. I think right now I want to stay close, so I can kind of watch my properties and see what they’re doing.” It would not be a stretch to say Violet made the most out of the summer of 2017, after she graduated from high school. That was when she posted her first nude on Reddit. She recalls inviting some guy friends over to her parents’ house when they were out of town. “And I had my first threesome—so two guys and me,” Violet says. “And I was having them take pictures of me and they were like, ‘Why don’t you post this on Reddit?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’ “So I was in my parents’ living room and I think I was bent over and you could barely see my face. And yeah, it blew up on Reddit.” A couple weeks later in July, Violet went looking for more adventure, so she drove to Arizona where she stayed with a friend for a couple months. By the end of September, she was becoming bored and “annoyed” in Arizona, so she decided to make a Snapchat—using the name Kourtney Kash—and start traveling. Looking back, she says she didn’t have any grand plan but that she had the desire to “go find myself and explore.” “So I was like, why don’t I just hop on Snapchat and see if I can make some money real quick? And so I started talking to a guy and he sent me 40 bucks to sext with him and I was like OK, I’m going to Vegas tonight,” Violet says. “So the whole time I would just kind of bounce around hotels and do the Snapchat thing and make it to my next destination. I’d stay there for three days and have some fun and go to the next place and I went all the way to New York and that’s when Nudiez hit me up.” By February of 2018, Kourtney became a Nudiez girl—there only were about 10 at the time—and she changed her stage name to Violet Summers. That’s when things got real. “I don’t know…There were so many red flags that normal people would see but it worked out for me,” Violet says, reflecting on her early days trying to make money with her content. “So I’m pretty happy about that and thankful that everything’s worked out. “It seems like I’ve come across people who are in my best interests so that helps out a lot.” One of those people who have looked out for Violet since Day 1 is Aaron Andrew, the tech-savvy entrepreneur who founded the exclusive Nudiez platform in 2016 and also owns Fans Management, a full-service agency that combines strategy, community and marketing. Andrew tells AVN he first noticed “Kourtney Kash” when he was searching Reddit, reporting users that were leaking explicit content there illegally. He saw that she was selling access to her Snapchat but wasn’t monetizing it correctly. Recognizing her potential, Andrew reached out to her through Snapchat and said that his team could help her do this better. “And she was just like, ‘Heck yeah, what do I do?’” Andrew recalls. “She was running wild, driving her car across the country just making it happen, so we collaborated with her to build a brand.” Andrew’s team shared insights with Violet about best practices for posting and how to use the algorithms on different social media platforms to her advantage. “Violet is smart and works very hard,” Andrew says. “And she’s one of the most good-natured people we’ve ever been blessed to work with.” He continues, “I did ask her one time, what did I say to you to inspire you to work so hard? And she told me, ‘I came from nothing Aaron. I was so broke and so down. I came from such a hard background. I was just motivated.’ “There was something within her that motivates her to go out there and create amazing content and share this crazy journey she’s on with all her fans and sincerely engage with them on a genuine level. That’s a rare thing these days.” Only few are chosen to join the Nudiez network, Andrew says. “The criteria to work with us is pretty stringent,” he continues, adding that Nudiez probably has 15,000 applications from girls who want to be on the team. He notes that a lot of models treat their social media “like a one-way street.” “Like it’s their own personal Vogue magazine, very one-dimensional,” Aaron says. “That’s why nobody cares or comments. The proof is in the pudding.” That’s where Summers stands out, he adds. Violet at press time had 13.6 million followers on Instagram at @violets.tv and more than 1 million on Twitter at @violetsummerss. “We’re so proud of her,” Aaron says. “We’re just so happy that she’s really seized this moment in time and opportunity and turned it something and made it part of her own story. “She’s never turned in a negative direction, she’s always kept on the straight and narrow path.” A native of Long Beach who has a degree in computer science, Andrew left a successful career as a high-end residential systems integrator who designed automation for wealthy clients with elaborate home entertainment systems. Now Andrew says his team is working on an AI Violet that is being programmed to communicate “ultra realistically.” “We’ve been testing it,” he says. “There are a lot things we don’t want people to ask the AI clone. The website will launch in the next 30 days and give people the ability to chat with her directly for a small hourly fee. Then we’re working on an actual live video with her likeness stitched to a 3D avatar.” Even though Violet switched her primary content-sharing platform to OnlyFans in January 2021, she shares regular posts on Nudiez and says she’ll never forget her roots. She even still posts on Snapchat. “I mainly post on OnlyFans though because I love going live,” Summers says. “I’ve been going live three times a week every single week since January because I love when people watch me and I think that turns me on the most. “That’s why I like the public play and flashing. When I’m live it’s so much more fun for me to get off and play games and connect with my fans. So OnlyFans makes it pretty easy for me to do that.” Some of Violet’s recent content included a weekend trip to Houston, where she flashed in front of Minute Maid Park—the home of the Houston Astros, which is her favorite baseball team. “I did some play outside of the park as well,” she says. “I just like rubbed my pussy a little bit. And then I was staying in a hotel right in front of it and it was just like a glass wall and I played with myself in front of it.” Violet reveals she also gave a guy a blowjob in a parking garage in Houston, too, for content. “I don’t do a ton of boy/girls, but when I do, it’s POV,” Summers says. “I’ve gotten a lot of recommendations lately to do tripod. So I think next time I find a guy I’m going to try to set up the tripod.” Summers also says another anal hookup may be in the future, if her body cooperates. “I have to take things so slow with my booty right now because I’m like an anal virgin again,” she jokes. “It’s so crazy—I can barely put a butt-plug in. I think like the more squats I do… I don’t know what it is. But it’s very tight right now, so I’ve actually been doing that a lot in live, trying to put more butt-plugs and stuff like that in so I can finally work my way up.” *** When Violet isn't doing butt stuff, she might be adding to her stash of valuable sports cards. She owns a collection of professional basketball cards worth more than $100,000. The avid collector has acquired about 60 Ja Morant cards with the late Young Dolph in the background sitting in the front row. Each one goes for about $500. A former season ticket holder for the Phoenix Suns, Summers also loves collecting Kevin Durant cards. The perennial NBA All-Star forward even follows her on Instagram. Summers tells AVN she also has a Michael Jordan rookie card and several Trae Young cards. “I collect very few people just to keep me grounded so I’m not just having a crazy amount of cards,” she says. “I’ve been hopping on eBay lately and just selling some cards because I unbox a lot. I go to local card stores and trade. So I’m kind of making a little bit of a side gig out of that, too. And it’s pretty fun. “It’s like visual stocks for me.” Violet this year started parlaying her passion for card collecting into her fan offerings. “I’ve started making like a Violet custom card collection and they’re really cool actually,” she tells me. “Some of them are like clean on the front and then the same photoset—but nude on the back. And I’ll sign them. I haven’t sold any yet but I’ve been doing raffles and giveaways on my [OnlyFans] lives and people really like them, so…I’m excited to continue with it.” If someone wins her raffle, she ships the Violet custom card out herself—sometimes she even kisses it. “Now I want to start doing a piece of my panties,” Summers adds. “You know how players include a piece of their jersey in the cards—like player worn or game worn. I want to do ‘show worn’ panties.” She reveals she also has collected more than 100 pairs of sneakers and about 30 designer handbags. “I don’t need any more sneakers,” she says with a laugh. “And then I have an insane amount of handbags. I think it’s because I lived in Scottsdale for so long and I just was always shopping. “It was a problem and now I’m just like OK, I just need big things now. I need houses and things that are going to take me somewhere because I have no more room for all of this stuff.” Photography by Violet Summers Productions
