Sadie Summers Discusses Comeback

LOS ANGELES—Sadie Summers returned to studio work for the first time in 15 years in May, seeing familiar faces and rediscovering her passion for performing. The Canadian heartbreaker formerly known as Tobi Pacific made the most of her business trip to Los Angeles, doing a handful of scenes with A-list co-stars such as Michael Stefano, Mike Adriano, Lucky Fate and Alex Legend. “It was so fun,” Summers says. “It was a lot different than I would’ve expected. The industry is much different now but it was such a great experience and I met so many great people.” She says one major difference is the number of studios that are shooting on a regular basis. “Now there are a lot less companies and it’s a lot more competitive, so the biggest thing is I’m just going to have to have a little more patience,” Summers tells AVN. Booking exclusively through Andre Madness and Jonathan Morgan’s Nexxxt Level Talent, Sadie says working with the veteran studs Stefano and Adriano brought back memories from her first tour through Porn Valley. This time around she took on Adriano for his site, AllAnal, along with second-year performer Maria Kazi. “It was incredible,” Sadie says. “We shot together a long time ago. We had a box cover together for New Sensations, so we were kind of looking over that. He’s such a great performer and the stuff he does is so aesthetically beautiful.” Summers says she went on a go-see for Adriano before the scene—and to her surprise, he remembered her. “As soon as I walked in he asked me, ‘Did you used to be in the business before?’ He even remembered the shoot, so I was really impressed by that,” she says. When Summers performed with Adriano in 2005 he was also brand new to professional porn. His longtime buddy Greg Lansky co-directed the scene that also starred Steve Holmes. Sadie also went for another spin with the 2005 AVN Male Performer of the Year Michael Stefano in May in a scene for New Sensations. “That was really fun,” Summers says. “He has the best energy and he’s so respectful. And he’s also so into feet, which I didn’t know, but I love that.” In addition, she collaborated with Alex Legend on a pair of content scenes and performed live for Jerkmate with two other girls. Summers first broke into the business in 2005 when she was 19, doing 70-something scenes during a two-year span before deciding to pursue other interests. Among other things, she wanted to be a “ski bum” for a while. “It sounds really crazy but I used to have an old Toyota 4x4 and I wanted go to Whistler [in British Columbia] and ski and to Utah to mountain bike in the summer,” says Summers, whose boyfriend at the time was a pro kayaker. “I’ve always been really athletic and I was so into the sports I was doing. It became a lifestyle.” Nowadays, she’s still an avid skier and downhill mountain biker. Summers also did public health and home community care nursing for 11 years. She worked a lot with indigenous populations on reservations. Sadie still works on call as a nurse now, specializing in palliative care at patient’s homes. “I was very methodical looking for a job that would be longer term that I could give back to people no matter what happens in my life,” Sadie says. “My nana was who inspired me. It was also a job of convenience, knowing I would be able to fall back on that.” She got married in 2015, revealing that her husband proposed to her while they were back-country skiing on top of a mountain in Whistler. Sadie and her husband started doing content together for OnlyFans about a year ago. It was her husband who inspired her to start back into professional porn when he asked her if she would ever consider doing studio work again. “I was kind of shocked, actually,” Summers says. “It was so evolved. It takes a special kind of person to be OK with it. … I feel like I won the lottery for that because I love sex work. Honestly, it was the best job in the world and I had been away for so long. For him to support me creatively and allow me to go and make movies with other creators I’m really proud of him.” Sadie says her husband, who is nicknamed “Juice,” still is “my permanent stunt cock” for her OnlyFans.“He’s my main collaborator because first it was based around us. I’ve started adding collaborations with other creators,” she says, noting that Juice edits her content and created her logo. When Summers was new in 2005, she was represented briefly by September Dawn’s Exotic Star Models before joining LA Direct Models for many years. She did her first shoot back with 2023 AVN Best Male Newcomer Lucky Fate for New Sensations. “It was really fun and in true Sadie form, I did an anal shoot for my first shoot back,” Summers jokes. Sadie says she decided to rebrand this time around because her current stage name is “more representative of me.” “I loved Tobi so much, but that was really a young female name,” she says. “I felt like this was a name representative of me and my curvy MILF body. Tobi Pacific sounds very young to me.” Summers, who splits time between Hood River, Oregon, and Los Angeles, says she sought out representation from Nexxxt Level Talent. “It was really intentional, I looked them up and saw that they represent some amazing MILF superstars,” she says. “I’ve been a fan of Brandi Love for so long and women like Stormy Daniels. The fact that these women have these amazing careers and choose to be at that agency I intentionally wanted to go with Andre and Jonathan. I reached out to them before anyone else.”
