CLEAR Lowers Price of Performer Panel

LOS ANGELES—Adult industry health screening provider CLEAR has announced a drop in price for its standard performer panel from $229 to $209. The company says that its innovations in testing protocols enabled a reduction in its own cost per test, which it has passed along to its clientele.  Explained CLEAR technical supervisor Kathy Crankshaw, "Since we opened our first location in August, we have been working day and night on how we can make the industry panel more accessible. This reduction could only have been achieved through the scaling of our operations in the past several months and innovations around processing tests more efficiently." In addition, CLEAR has decided to absorb the cost of the Trichomonas Vaginalis (aka "Trich") test, one that is not widely available at affordable prices. "There are very few labs in the country that can run this panel at an affordable price, which is why the industry has struggled to find labs to compete in the industry,” CLEAR CEO Humberto Buniotto said. “We are extremely proud of what we’ve done for the industry in the last few months, and that this latest development puts us in a position to pass those savings on to performers."
