Elevated X Announces Update in Response to Twitter Policy Change

LOS ANGELES—Website management software firm Elevated X has announced a comprehensive software update in response to Twitter's recent policy change on April 6, 2023. The policy change blocks external apps and programs from reading Twitter account data and posting automated Tweets, requiring users to sign up for Twitter Developer accounts and choose between a free or paid option with different monthly Tweet allowances. Recognizing the popularity of its automated-Twitter functionality and the importance of Twitter integration to its website clients' promotional efforts, Elevated X over the past two weeks has redeveloped its Twitter features to ensure seamless integration with the social media platform's updated policies. The official rollout of this update to Elevated X and Elevated X Complete clients will happen on April 24.  "We understand the significance of Twitter integration for our clients and the impact of the recent policy change on their promotional efforts," said Heather K., marketing director of Elevated X. "As a customer-centric company, we have taken immediate action to update our software and provide clear instructions to our users on how to sign up for Twitter Developer accounts and select the appropriate option based on their needs." Users of Elevated X and ELXComplete have been sent detailed instructions on signing up for Twitter's Development portal and selecting the free or paid account, and this information is also available within each client's website administration panel. It is important to note that clients who only display a Twitter widget on their site without auto-Tweeting are not required to sign up for a Twitter Developer account at this time, in accordance with Twitter's use policies and free-use restrictions. Elevated X encourages its users to visit the company's support website and reach out for assistance with settings changes to ensure their websites can continue to auto-post to Twitter. The company remains committed to providing exceptional support to its clients during this transition and beyond. Twitter logo photo By Howard Lake / Wikimedia Commons
