Kenzie Taylor Directs 'Jake in the City' for Next Door Raw

LOS ANGELES—AVN Award-winning performer/director Kenzie Taylor returns behind the camera for new Next Door Studios scene “Jake in the City,” a gritty tale of two men in a dark alley starring Roman Todd and Theo Brady. “Shooting this film for me was so unique compared to your average scene," Brady said. "I find the scene itself so artsy and aesthetically pleasing. Working with Roman, Kenzie and the rest of the team was so amazing. Everyone on set was such professionals and always made sure that we were comfortable. It felt like we were all contributing ideas in our own ways to make the scene great and different, and from the looks of it we did just that. I knew that with the concept I came up with, on top of the skill set of my crew and how incredible the performers chosen were, it would be nothing short of amazing,“ offered Taylor. “Directing gay porn is probably one of my favorite things to do. It's something I thoroughly enjoy, and capturing it with a different eye than most makes for a unique experience for the viewer. The concept I came up with for Next Door Raw was raunchy, sexy, no dialogue, just a lot of montage shots leading into a random hookup. I like getting the performers amped up with all of the suspense because it then makes for one incredible authentic performance. Working alongside Roman Todd and Theo Brady was a blast.
