Riley Reid Reports Identity Hijack by Hackers

CHATSWORTH, Calif—Adult superstar Riley Reid suffered a hacking of her personal phone number over the weekend that has result in the compromise of numerous associated accounts, including her Twitter page, Venmo ID, Amazon account and more. Speaking from her bank Wednesday morning, Reid told AVN, "Somehow someone was about to do a sim swapping on my phone. They hacked into my account and were able to get my number switched to their provider and device. Sot they are getting all my texts, calls as well as two-factor authorization codes. I'm assuming they must have some sort of program to see what accounts are associated with that number because they started hacking into my Spectrum, Microsoft Office, Venmo, Amazon, eBay and more, plus my social media account Twitter." Reid is especially distraught over the Twitter hack, in no small part because the hacker since Tuesday evening has posted a string of transphobic, anti-Semitic and like messages to the page. "The Twitter is horrible because it's the only social media outlet I have been able to retain and grow for the last 10 years. It was the one place I always felt safe and now it's just taken away by some hacker," she said. "I have yet to have progress with Twitter and this person is now posting horrible, hateful, disgusting posts. I am so embarassed by this and so sorry to anyone else who is affected by this." She went on to stress, "I encourage anyone who has my number to delete that number. If you call or text it then they will now have your number and it will be compromised. This person is scary and I'm taking as many precautions as possible. "I'm at the bank now closing all my accounts," Reid continued. "Banks verify your identity now with a call or text, which is scary because this person has that number. I can't even login to online banking without them getting my two-factor authentication codes. It's so scary and I've been playing cat and mouse with this hacker since Saturday. It's only gotten worse but I'm not giving up and I am determined to beat this hacker."
