Emma Magnolia Named Twistys Treat of the Month for April

LOS ANGELES—Emma Magnolia admired Twistys’ high-end brand of glamour content before she broke into adult entertainment. Now she is celebrating the title of Twistys Treat of the Month for April. “It’s amazing,” Magnolia says. “It’s a big honor for me. I love making lesbian porn, so it’s something I’m really excited about.” Magnolia worked closely with director/stylist Lea Lexis and photographer JT on her Twistys Treat of the Month photoshoot that featured her slipping into a pair of cowboy boots, tight denim shorts and an emerald green bikini top and getting behind the wheel of a black vintage convertible; Emma also teased in a variety of poses inside a retro-themed motel room under the glow of neon light. The shoot at a secret Los Angeles studio location marked a reunion of sorts for Emma, Lea, JT & Co. “We have done a bunch of scenes together over the past month,” Emma says. “And I’ve gotten to know the whole crew really well. They all make me feel so safe and excited to be there. “Every time I come to work with them I know it’s going to be a smooth, enjoyable day and I feel like I’m not even working.” “We’ve had our eye on Emma Magnolia for some time,” says a Twistys rep. “As a talent, she’s unique and such a breath of fresh air. Funny, sexy, badass, curvy, a redhead—what more could you ask for in a Treat?” Emma describes her photoset in the convertible as “60s-70s avant-garde” in its aesthetic. “There was no script, just storytelling without words, which I thought was very fun,” she says. “We drove an old vintage car around. It was almost like I was on the run from somebody or looking for something and it was super fun to play with wind and fog all day. It made me feel like a superstar.” Without question, Magnolia is well on her way to industry superstardom. Born and raised in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri, she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas for 10 years, where she got her degree in biology, with additional studies in anthropology—until she relocated to LA a year ago. The newest Spiegler Girl started doing adult work in 2018, when she was dancing at a strip club. When the pandemic hit, Emma began creating content, excelling in that area immediately. “And I just liked it a lot better, so I decided to stick with this career direction,” she says. “I’m really lucky. I’ve been waiting for a long time to break into studio work. I’ve been waiting for the right moment and I am privileged and lucky enough that Brazzers reached out to me. It was something that I felt was not only going to be amazing for my career, but something that I would love doing. So I feel very blessed to be doing this.” Magnolia already has cultivated an enormous social media following—at press time she had more than 630,000 followers on Twitter and more than half a million on Instagram. She did more than 100 collabs in 2022 after primarily making solo content as she built her name. “I hit the ground running and started working with a lot of people and I was very lucky that a lot of amazing creators wanted to work with me,” Emma tells AVN, noting that Kazumi has been a major influence on her both personally and professionally. “I love her so much. I feel her friendship has had such a huge influence on me and I learned so much from her,” Magnolia says. “It’s really amazing to get to share a business space with her, but she is even more of just a kind, understanding and loving friend. I’m even luckier to be friends with her.” Magnolia came into adult armed with a breadth of job experience. She worked as a preschool teacher at a daycare; a farmer; a cheese monger; and she was the director of a non-profit organization that served homeless people in the Little Rock area. As a cheese monger, she tells AVN she curated a cheese collection at a cheese & wine bar. “I was feeling really passionate about heritage agriculture and dairy history at the time,” Emma recalls. “I was so excited about heritage food that I went to the shop and talked to the owner about how interested I was and he gave me a job.” She would sell the produce from her vegetable farm—which included a chicken coup—at the farmers market on the weekends.
