'Skin in the Game - The Raven Riley Story' Arrives on VOD

LOS ANGELES—Skin in the Game - The Raven Riley Story, a new documentary from the late filmmaker, David Pilot (1954-2022), has been released. The film is available for streaming on Vimeo Pay Per View and will be released on various streaming services later this year. "Skin In The Game" tells the story of cam model Raven Riley’s rapid rise to fame in the early 2000s before abruptly ending her career. The film shows how with the help of her business manager 3X Tom, her promoter JayMan and her devoted boyfriend Kevin Baxter, Riley’s stardom seemed inevitable. And yet, as Pilot’s footage ultimately revealed, the stigma of working in adult entertainment coupled with a propensity for self-sabotage unraveled her promising career. Pilot was inspired to create this biopic from his behind-the-scenes footage from Riley’s first feature film, Succubus, which was directed by Wasteland Studios founder Colin Rowntree in 2005. In addition to Rowntree and crew on the Succubus set, Skin in the Game features interviews with Riley, Baxter, Liz Vicious, Brandi Love and others, along with a cameo appearance by Ron Jeremy. Skin in the Game was completed in 2020 when Pilot was in negotiations with HBO and Showtime when he passed away before making a deal. After his death, Pilot's daughter contacted Rowntree and asked him to complete the distribution for her father's final project as executive producer. The film's producers said the documentary has been eagerly anticipated by fans of Raven Riley as it promises to be a compelling look at the world of online interactive porn in the 2000s. Skin in the Game is 64 minutes in length and may be viewed on Vimeo Pay Per View by visiting vimeo.com/ondemand/ravenriley.
