PASS Partners With CLEAR for Free Chlamydia Testing in Miami, LA

LOS ANGELES—PASS is partnering with CLEAR to offer free Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing, including oral and rectal swabbing, to adult performers in LA and Miami. Over the past few days, rumors of higher Chlamydia positive results from Cutting Edge Testing (CET) in Los Angeles have arisen. However, an investigation by PASS found that these results are likely due to newly added oral and rectal swab requirements, leading to previous clearances of the bacteria. This elevated positivity rate could not be confirmed by other testing labs with larger sample sizes or across the entire testing population, according to PASS. To side with caution, and to ensure the safety of performers in the industry, PASS said Monday it partnered with CLEAR to extend free and discounted testing options to performers who wish to confirm their status. “We are grateful for our partnership with CLEAR," said a PASS rep. We are also thrilled about their expansion into Los Angeles and what it means for our industry.” CLEAR has been operating a testing facility in Miami since August of last year, and just opened its newest location in the heart of Northridge, just outside of Los Angeles. Both locations will be offering three-site Chlamydia screenings free of charge over the next several weeks.  “Our mission is to make testing more accessible to the adult industry while providing a superior customer experience," said a CLEAR rep.
