Comedian Matt Rife to Co-Host 2023 AVN Awards Show

LAS VEGAS—Comedian Matt Rife has been named the co-host for the 2023 AVN Awards Show presented by MyFreeCams. Rife will join adult entertainment superstars Abella Danger and Reya Sunshine on the AVN Awards stage this Saturday night in Las Vegas. Known for his huge audience on TikTok and a MTV episode staple, Rife has opened for Dane Cook, Ralphie May and DeRay Davis and has been selling out shows across the country. AVN CEO Tony Rios made today’s announcement.  “We are really looking forward to Matt co-hosting the 2018 AVN Awards,” Rios said. “We are sure he will bring a freshness to show like no other.” Rife has become one of the fastest rising comedians in the country through his viral content and remarkable engagement on TikTok, where he has amassed more than five million followers, and more than 260 million views globally. Rife brings forth his refreshingly genuine presence along with elevated material that is quick witted and vulnerable. From Columbus, Ohio, Matt started performing at the age of 15. He made his television debut on MTV’s “Wild 'N Out" as the youngest cast member in history for four seasons before moving on to other MTV properties, such as hosting the reboot of “TRL” and appearing on “The Challenge.” Other credits include: “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”, “Fresh Off The Boat”, BET’s “North Of The 10”, and most recently NBC’s comedy competition show “Bring The Funny.” In 2021, Rife self-produced and distributed his first one-hour comedy special “OnlyFans" through YouTube.
