X-Play Inks Distro Deal With Bizarre for Parodies

HOLLYWOOD—Director Will Ryder and his X-Play studio have signed a new distribution deal with Bizarre Video for their extensive line of adult parodies. The titles will now be available for DVD wholesale through Bizarre and for VOD through sister label Joy Media Group. “We are thrilled to take over the distribution of this very special product line,” said Bizarre Video VP David Peskin. “We hit it off with David and Keith over at Bizarre and all agreed there is new life and a new audience for our award-winning catalog of classic show parodies," added X-Play co-producer Scott David.  The award-winning parodies now available under the deal include Not the Cosbys XXX, Not Married With Children XXX, Not MASH XXX, Not Bewitched XXX, Not The Wizard of Oz XXX, Not Three’s Company XXX, Not South Park XXX, Not the Bionic Woman XXX, Not the Bradys XXX, Not Charlie’s Angels XXX, Not Airplane! XXX, Not Animal House XXX, Rocky XXX, Britney Rears and more.    “All of our customers are very happy because these classic titles were great sellers when they were released, and are selling again today," added Peskin. "Now they will know they can come to Bizarre Video for the best classic parodies in the business and I have to add that these movies are really produced well.”  X-Play's parodies have won awards in virtually every area possible, including writing, costumes, sex, art direction and music. Both David and Ryder were also inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame.
