Anna Claire Clouds, Violet Starr Come Knocking in 'Money'

LOS ANGELES — "Knock Knock," the third scene of three-time AVN Best Actor and Gamma exclusive contract performer, Seth Gamble's Money, is now available on Wicked.com. Produced by four-time AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun, Money is an arresting visual anthology showcasing five industry stars in depictions of avarice, narcissism, and empowerment. The darkly erotic "Knock Knock" casts Gamble opposite Anna Claire Clouds and Violet Starr, and is now available exclusively on Wicked.com.  The latest chapter of Money takes its inspiration from such classics of the cinematic home invasion genre as the infamous 1977 grindhouse classic Death Game (a.k.a. The Seducers) starring Colleen Camp and Sondra Locke, and Death Game’s Spanish-language remake, 1980’s Viciosas al Desnudo, directed by Manuel Esteba and featuring Adriana Vega and Eva Lyberten. In each, a deceptively complacent man is enjoying a rainy evening at home when two young ladies show up at his suburban doorstep, drenched and claiming to be lost. Like the good Samaritan he claims to be, he lets them in, gives them use of his phone, and tries to help the rather giddy girls dry out. Remaining giddy, they quickly make it apparent they have no intention of leaving. The mind games multiply until he realizes he’s at the mercy of two violent, deranged women. “At its core, it’s a story about a man who’s held hostage by a pair of seemingly motiveless young women in an overtly sexualized, proto-Funny Games scenario,” Gamble said of the scene. “It was an intense shoot and I’m incredibly fortunate that my crew—James Avalon, Ryan Ray, Billy Visual, and Shaun Rivera—can be counted on to show up and do their best work no matter what. Because it’s all about the work; you have to show up no matter what the budget is or what personalities are involved and do the work, and do it the best you can. And they always do.”  Gamble was just as enthusiastic about the contributions of his co-stars. “You can make the argument that Anna Claire and Violet are the story's true protagonists. In their view, they’re dishing out a twisted form of justice against someone who is not only being punished for his own deeds, but is also serving as a surrogate for the society that made them that way.” “Men often don’t recognize just how vulnerable they are in the hands of a woman,” he continued. “That’s the idea Violet and Anna Claire ran with. They’re very creative. They put their heads together and made the scene everything that it was.
