Interview – Luke Hardy “UK’s Hottest Porn Stud”

Remember the classic ‘80s song “I Love a Man in a Uniform” by Gang of Four? If you don’t, go take a listen, because those chaps were spot on, and Luke Hardy is proving it on his hardcore website LukeHardyXXX.com.

A former British Army Commando, Hardy whose site screams “UK’s Hottest Porn Stud” in red and blue with his name cut out of the Union Jack, obviously enjoys spinning his prior career on its head (literally) and pleasing all those women who can’t get enough of a guy decked out in military garb. The marketing across the LukeHardyXXX site employs a lot of tongue and cheek humor and really plays up his soldier niche with content like “Army Bitches,” “Sluts in Uniform,” “Filthy Military Acts,” “Perverted Patriots,” “Cock Sucking Army Ho’s,” and in case you wondered if it’s an equal opportunity world… “Sluts in Uniform” because apparently men love a woman in a uniform just as much as women love a man in uniform.

This week, YNOT got a chance to do a bit of reconnaissance on Luke Hardy, and we’re pleased to share an interview with the man in the uniform.

Going from a career in the British Army to adult performer is an interesting leap – how did you make the move and what has that been like?

I was given a lucky break really! A childhood friend of mine was already in the industry but had to leave it due to personal reasons – and I just filled his boots as it were!

How do you find performers to work with?

Social media like Twitter and Instagram are good for “scouting” fresh meat (just kidding) but also word of mouth.

How do you promote your site and what techniques have been successful for you?

I use social media and industry events – it’s a hard business for a lone male performer to crack!

What do you like to do outside of the industry?

I love cars! I go to shows and meets and could talk about cars all day! I also enjoy general relaxing and physical training outside of work – running, lifting weights, martial arts. It all helps me to decompress from the stresses of filming and travelling.

What is the biggest challenge about being in the industry?

Honestly, the biggest challenge is remaining focused and committed to the work. Sometimes I really have no energy to do a scene, but I always do. I am a professional.

What inspires you in your work?

Just doing it well and being appreciated for it. I also like naked girls – that count too?

Which do you prefer more, producing content or just being hired to do it and why?

A mixture of both – balance is key!

Tell us a success of yours that you’re proud of, brag a little.

I am just nine scenes away from 700 total completed!

Tell us about one of the best experiences you ever had on set.

My best experience on set was when I was shooting for Digital Playground on a Star Wars XXX Parody here in the UK for director Dick Bush. It was a great shoot with amazing performers, and it was such a good time!

Do you ever get nervous before filming?

I used to get nervous sometimes before shooting, especially if it was with a new girl or two! Nowadays, I usually quite look forward to shooting.

What is a great piece of advice you can give to newcomers?

Always be professional with everyone on set. Always get your STI tests done correctly.

Enjoy it all!

What is the most difficult thing about your job and why?

The most difficult thing for me is not knowing how much work and therefore how much money I will make month to month. It’s hard for a male performer here in the UK, but I am still here, as ready as ever to perform!

What are your goals for the future of your business?

To become a household name and to bring the porn industry more into the mainstream media. I am appearing in an ITV2 (UK TV channel) documentary on the porn industry this month, so make sure to catch it!
