Ela Darling Named Affiliate Liaison for Abyss Creations

LAS VEGAS—Performer and tech pioneer Ela Darling has joined RealDoll parent company Abyss Creations as its affiliate liaison.  The role is a shift for Darling, a veteran performer who is known for starring as the world’s first VR camgirl on VRTube.xxx—the first VR live webcam platform, which she co-created in 2015—as well as overseeing the launch of the virtual camgirl Vex Ruby on ViRo Playspace. Darling has since given talks about VR porn at conferences all over the world, including a 2016 TEDx talk. “This will be my first notable foray into the toy and novelty industry and I couldn’t be more thrilled that my new role is with such an esteemed brand," Darling said. "I still remember reading about them in Vanity Fair when I was early in my career as an adult entrepreneur. I pinned up a clip of that article in my workshop as inspiration when I was learning coding and robotics.   “When I learned that Abyss Creations was looking for an industry pro to take the lead on affiliate outreach, I didn’t hesitate to reach out to them," she continued.
