Pineapple Support, Chaturbate Launch Competition Celebrate Sex Worker Pride

Launching as part of International Sex Workers Day, “Proud of Who I Am” will run from June 2nd until June 30. The winning video will be announced on July 4 with the winning performer to take home the latest MacBook Pro and a professional webcam.

“Launching this on International Sex Worker Day feels very special,” says Leya Tanit, founder of Pineapple Support. “Thanks to the generosity of Chaturbate, the competition is a chance for performers to share all of the reasons we have to be proud of ourselves, as sex workers, personally, or of whatever you’d like. That video you record and share with your community could help to lift someone who might have forgotten about some of the reasons they have to be proud of themselves, too.”

To be a part of the competition, performers should record a video explaining why they are proud of who they are and share it on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #ProudPineapple, tagging @chaturbate and @PineappleYSW on Twitter, or @cbswagstore and @pineappleysw on Instagram.

The winner will be announced on July 4 by the Pineapple Team on Twitter and Instagram.
