New Cosmo Liveti Feature 'Within Her' Bows This Weekend on Canal+

PARIS—Multiple AVN Award-nominated French director Cosmo Liveti follows up his big-budget productions Sicalipsis and Candaulisme, Mon Amour with new offering Within Her (or La Femme des Ses Rêves), premiering at midnight Saturday on French TV channel Canal+. Within Her stars 2022 AVN Best New International Starlet nominee Clara Mia as Anna, a young ingénue who, according to promo materials, has just left her life in Los Angeles to return home to her native Paris for a movie project directed by famous auteur Alexandro (Francesco Malcom), which sends her into an "erotic spiral" that blends elements of suspense, comedy, drama and fantasy.  “I was strongly enthusiastic when Cosmo came back to me with this new project. After Candaulisme, Mon Amour, I was surprised by a totally different proposal," Mia said. "It looked more complex to act, but I felt mesmerized and I accepted immediately the offer.” Liveti describes Mia's character Anna as "a unique creature, with an outstanding beauty. Model, influencer and now a wannabe actress, her life flies so fast that no one can catch her. But between photo shoots and interviews, she seems to slowly get out of her mind." The movie also stars newcomers Alyson Borromeo (as Monica) and Chloé Duval (as Dahlia), along with veterans Ania Kinski (as Ava) and Boris Schwartz (as Jim). Noting that the project was inspired by the works of David Lynch and Abel Ferrara, Liveti mused, “Pornography is a marker of the evolution of the occidental society, but also the expression of the collective psyche. Everything is going more radical in this unstable world, and what porno offers us to see, is no more and no less, that what the anonymous spectator’s eye wants to see. But nowadays, many questions show up regarding how to represent sex on the screen. It is now crucial to propose pioneering proposals, giving intellectual context to such pictures, in order to avoid the risk of purely commercial or political use of them.” He added, “The world has changed and is in constant mutation. I would like that Within Her would be one of the innumerable doors leading us to the new world.”
