Texas Patti Takes to the Skies with ‘Fake Flight’ |

Two of the enduring qualities of the ‘reality porn’ genre, from a producer’s perspective, are the relative ease and lack of expense involved in producing much of the content that fits into this broad genre. If you want to copy the formula that made series like Bang Bus a success, it’s a straightforward proposition: Obtain a vehicle, contract with some performers, shoot some scenes and you’re done (more or less). Some reality-style porn projects are more ambitious than others, however. And while I haven’t seen any episodes, so I’m not entirely sure the descriptor “reality porn” truly applies to the pending series, what I can say for certain is that Fake Flight, an upcoming series from popular German star Texas Patti, is far more involved than plopping down a credit card to obtain a rental car. Fake Flight director Patrick Habig told YNOT that getting Fake Flight off the ground took “about two years” of preparation and that the “most difficult part was to get all the permissions.” “We paid a lot of failing money,” Habig added. While Habig has produced more than 50 movies in his time, including “a lot of big movies and shows in Europe,” he said he’s never tackled anything quite like Fake Flight. Still, while the project has been demanding, Habig said it that because all the performers involved have “had so much fun and such amazing work” it transformed what could have been a seriously daunting endeavor into “an easy job.” In addition to Patti, the series’ initial scenes will feature Steve Holmes, Codey Steel, Nicole Kid and Troy Francisco, among others, Habig told YNOT. The first scene in the series pairs Patti with Steel. While the flight component of the series introduces obvious logistical challenges and an aspect unlike any previous reality porn series, the back story for how and why the people depicted end up having sex on a plane is more tried-and-true reality porn territory: In essence, Patti and Number 23 (Habig) “are looking for couples on the street at random,” much as reality series featuring earth-bound vehicles are typically set up. The couples “get the opportunity to have sex in a plane,” Habig explained, adding that “the lavish costumes” and the series’ “wit and charm” will “ensure erotic entertainment.” Looking through the behind-the scenes-images and reading Habig’s descriptions of the series, calling Fake Flight “reality porn” feels like I’m doing it the production a disservice; it sounds more like something of a lighthearted parody of reality porn, one that celebrates its own absurdity, even as it delivers hot adult entertainment. Is Fake Flight building towards something? Habig hinted at such – but said couldn’t offer details at this time. Noting that new episodes will release weekly on FakeFlight.com, Habig said that as a special bonus, at the 3-month mark he will release a “new adventure sex scene”, but added that “unfortunately, I can’t tell you what we are doing and how we want to outdo each other.” Fans will just have to wait to see what Habig and Patti have up their sleeves – but in the meantime, they’ll have plenty of reason to keep an eye on the skies, to see where all these Fake Flights take Patti and her cohorts next. |
