HotMovies Recruits Lotus Lain for Black History Month Interviews

CYBERSPACE—In honor of Black History Month 2022, HotMovies has teamed up with Lotus Lain and the Free Speech Coalition to interview 12 of porn’s biggest and most buzz-worthy Black stars on Instagram Live throughout the month. Hosted by Lain, the series kicks off on Wednesday, February 2 at 12 PM PT with Brazzers contract star Ricky Johnson.  “Being that there is just so much incredible Black talent out there these days, I wanted to highlight some of the creators I see making waves in the industry for Black History Month through fun IG live interviews,” writes Lain. “There are new performers, some that have achieved top-star status, and our last interview at the end of the month, with Mr. Marcus, will even touch on a career that has been controversial.” “Lotus is a rock star,” wrote HotMovies social media manager Judy Hologram. “We initially approached her to do one interview for us and she ran with it, resulting in this exciting month-long interview series. In celebrating Black excellence on our platform, we knew it was important to take leadership from within porn’s Black community. We hope that highlighting Lotus’ voice and others will spark important conversations in the industry and lead to much needed changes benefitting performers of color.”  “I’m looking forward to hearing people's journeys, who they looked up to, and what legacy they hope to leave upon the industry,” Lotus concluded. The interviews will continue every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday of the month, with industry superstars like Ana Foxxx and Isiah Maxwell, as well as sought-after newcomers like Avery Jane, Ana Andrews and Musa Phoenix.
