Pineapple Support to Host ‘Beyond Abuse’ Support Group

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support, the adult industry’s leading mental health nonprofit, will provide a free, online support group with a focus on abuse, sponsored by Chaturbate. The six-week support group, “Beyond Abuse” will be led by therapist Miki Anderson and will start on Tuesday, November 9th at 6 p.m. EST.“The ‘Beyond Abuse’ support group is yet another example of the excellent work that Pineapple Support does to provide accessible and educational resources to the entire adult entertainment community,” says Shirley Lara, COO of Chaturbate. “From Pineapple Support’s very inception, Chaturbate has been an enthusiastic supporter of the amazing goals and objectives of the organization in creating a supportive space for adult performers to feel heard, seen, and understood.”Pineapple Support was founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses.
