Ricky Greenwood Fetes Halloween With MissaX 'Pet Sematary' Homage |
HOLLYWOOD, Calif.âAcclaimed writer/director Ricky Greenwood provides some Halloween weekend entertainment with the release Saturday of a new featurette for MissaX.com inspired by the celebrated Stephen King novel-turned-film Pet Sematary. Titled âOne Last Kiss,â the production stars Elena Koshka, Tommy Pistol, Jane Wilde and Penny Barber. Shot in Greenwood's trademark cinematic style, it pays tribute to his favorite book and movie character, Pet Sematary's Zelda Goldman, played in the 1989 film by Andrew Hubatsek. Elaborates a provided synopsis, "When Mary (Wilde) comes back in Paulâs (Pistol) life, Paul is flooded with memories heâs tried to forget. Mary was Aliceâs (Koshka) best friend. After Aliceâs very sad and emotional death from spinal meningitis, Mary cuts ties with Paul and his wife Veronica (Barber). A few years later, after the pain from Aliceâs death hurts a little less, Mary comes to Paul and asks him to help her prepare for her college entrance exam. Itâs nice to rekindle their relationship, but many of the memories of Aliceâs death come flashing back for Paul. And then Paul finds out that Mary is looking for a different kind of help after class." âI wanted to do something special for Halloween this year," Greenwood said. "Pet Sematary is a classic book and movie from master of horror Stephen King. I used the same dress and disease that Zelda Goldman had to pay homage to him. Watching âOne Last Kissâ is a great way to spend your Halloween weekend, and I hope MissaXâs members enjoy it.â View the trailer for "One Last Kiss" exclusively on Greenwoodâs Twitter @RickyGreenwoodX.
