Aussie Police Officer Leaves Force, Joins OnlyFans

When then–Senior Constable Zachary Samuel Maidment of Australia’s Queensland Police Service was celebrating his birthday last year at the Star Casino and Hotel in Broadbeach, he had no idea it would lead to a dramatic career change. But the party was “bugged,” and footage of him sniffing cocaine off his then-fiance, Playboy model Tyana Hansen’s breasts…and then inviting someone else to do the same thing…was seen by his employer at the time. Maidment left the police service shortly thereafter, though media accounts differ on whether he resigned or was suspended.

Whatever the case, the 29-year-old, heavily tattooed ex-cop is spending his time very differently. Maidment is expected back in court on August 10 to face two counts of possessing a dangerous drug, two counts of supplying a dangerous drug, two counts of possessing property suspected of being used in connection with a drug offense, and more. But in the meantime, while he’s out on bail, he’s started an OnlyFans account with his partner in crime—Tyana Hansen.

Hansen told ABC she’s been using the adult-friendly platform “to have financial freedom” for around a year already. “It’s been a good opportunity to not have a boss and work for myself,” she said. But now that she’s been joined by her ex-fiancé, Maidment, Hansen reported that their notoriety has allowed them to make “five figures” in a day.

“The couple of ex’s [sic] you’ve been waiting for,” their OnlyFans profile reportedly wrote. “You’re welcome in advance for the good wank material.”

It’s certainly unorthodox for a police officer to leave the thin blue line behind to blue films, but we applaud Maidment for his move. For one thing, making adult videos with a trusted partner is much safer than putting one’s body in the line of danger every day—especially during the time of COVID-19.

But, more than that, Hansen told ABC that Maidment is happier now than he ever was with the police. “When Zac was in the police, they controlled every aspect of his life, including what he posted to social media. So, doing this is a chance for both of us to be ourselves,” she said.

We love to see it! Best of luck to Mr. Maidment when he heads back to the courtroom in August—and we hope he has lots of fun and makes plenty of money in the meantime!
