Fresh Faces: Nikki Sweet

LOS ANGELES—Nikki Sweet, who has degrees in Psychology and Sociology and used to work in makeup at Macy’s, credits the adult industry with building her self-esteem. “When I first started posting nudes, I was glad that there were guys who were into me, but I never thought I was anywhere near the tier of girls who were porn stars,” says Sweet, a native of Salt Lake City who at press time resided in Miami. “I was never really overweight, but as I started shooting I lost 25 pounds. “As I started to post nudes I started to look at my body differently. Slowly, over time, everything looked better. I felt better. Now, doing full-on scenes, it gives you so much confidence. You're the star of that scene that day. You think, ‘All these people got together today to make this video of me getting fucked.’ That feels good.” Now represented by Motley Models, Sweet says at the beginning she wanted to build a following so she could start an OnlyFans. "That was my first goal," she recalls. "I was also on another site where I would sell pictures and videos. The fans would really like it because they were really interacting with you. That was my first. I wrote 'DADDY' on my chest once, it was tough not to make it backwards. Then, I was approached by Abbywinters from Reddit to shoot for them in L.A. It was solo, so it was a low-commitment easy way to try out adult film. "By the end of it, it was so fun... The director suggested I check out SexyJobs, and that got me in touch with a recruiter, and two or three days later I was in Florida, shooting." She moved to Miami soon after. "I came out here and shot for a week, and then went home, got all my stuff, and came out here."  The pandemic has made an impact on her career. "Except for the first two months, it's been lockdown, quarantine," she says. "As soon as I got started, it paused." Sweet at press time said her best scene so far was "Twin Share" with Milan for Team Skeet Labs: “I play myself and my own twin in a threesome.” On the to-do list, she'd like to do a gangbang and “more top-tier professional scenes.” "I'm trying to focus hard on modeling, that's why I'm working so hard on my body all the time," Sweet says. "I'm proud of everything I've done so far, but maybe I'm not the superstar I'd like to be, yet. I've got some work to do. “I'm just doing what I love. It’s been kind of a crazy year, with all these obstacles, but it's cool how the industry has changed my life. I feel like I'm a better person now.
