Inna Innaki Discusses Growth of SugarBabes.tv & Giving Back

LOS ANGELES—Inna Innaki tells AVN her site SugarBabes.tv is “like a dream come true.” “In the beginning, I never even imagined that the website will be so successful, but even in our hardest times I never stopped believing that we will succeed and here we are,” says Innaki, who launched SugarBabes with her longtime partner Teo Sirina in 2017. Now the site is one of the most unique online destinations in adult featuring a treasure trove of quality hardcore content shot primarily in Innaki’s home country of Greece. “We’re becoming more and more popular each year and because of that, I want to thank our fans for all of the support during the years,” Innaki adds. The Greek superstar reveals that SugarBabes already has more than 100 sex scenes live on the site with 120 and counting that have yet to be published. “At the moment we have around 87 porn stars that are already part of our launched movies and even now during the pandemic we are recruiting new faces,” Innaki adds. She says Greece continues to be in lockdown due to the worldwide health crisis. “Unfortunately, we can't work as usual! In the first lockdown, we didn't shoot even one scene, but when they open for a while we start to shoot a lot so we can have more content in case that happens again. Of course, with an extra test for COVID-19,” Innaki explains.  “The situation is really bad at the moment in Greece. We are on the third lockdown and to get out for pharmacy or grocery people must send SMS—and you have only an hour to go outside!” In spite of those logistical challenges, Innaki launched her own SugarBabes magazine three months ago and already is on the second issue. “We weren't sure how will go because now everyone is online and even many magazines stopped their publishing,” she says. “For our happiness, we decide to put inside a coupon code which gives you free access for one month in SugarBabes.tv. This makes people more excited to continue buying and because of our success, we decided to give part of the profit for charity. “After the sales of the first issue we buy and share 10,000 masks for free and we will continue to help as much as we can with every profit we make.” Indeed, the pink, white & blue SugarBabes brand is going strong—their online store features a full line of women’s and men’s apparel with items such as bikinis, hoodies, tank-tops, trucker caps and even masks. “In the beginning, we start the brand only for us and our crew but after a lot of requests from our followers we decide to make a store,” Innaki says. “At the moment we have a lot of purchases and all the time we try to create something new and interesting for the people!” And the people of Greece have responded. When Innaki received a nomination for Best Foreign-Shot All-Girl Sex Scene for the 2021 AVN Awards, the news went viral in her country. “They were so excited to hear I was nominated for the AVN Awards. The media published it on all big websites, TV shows, radio channels, newspapers, and magazines. I am really grateful for their support!” Innaki says. “Therefore I really feel sorry that I didn't bring them at least one award. They support me from the beginning of my career and every time I am even more motivated to win at least one AVN award.” In the nominated scene, Innaki paired off with Sofia Pavlidi for a scintillating encounter for the SugarBabe’s popular “Greek Taxi” series in which the two locked lips in the back of a taxi. “It was really an honor for me to be nominated for the AVN Awards again. I feel really exciting, especially when we speak about girl/girl scene because I really enjoy it!” Innaki continues.  “Before the video, we were able to get to know each other, and like this, it was easier for both of us to feel more comfortable during the movie and the chemistry was amazing! I believe my experience on the girl/girl scenes helped her to feel more secure in her first scene for SugarBabes.tv." Innaki introduced the “Greek Taxi” series about a year ago. “Actually the idea of it is really funny,” she says. “We have a friend who is a taxi driver, and at that time he was telling us stories of his experience in the taxi, so we decide to actualize these stories in erotic movies.”     The approach seems to be working as Innaki reports that every month they are adding more subscribers to SugarBabes.tv while also retaining their current subscription base. As she looks toward the rest of 2021, Innaki says the best is yet to come on SugarBabes.tv. “On their way are a lot of new big and different projects,” Innaki reveals. “After the pandemic is over we plan to shoot new movies with famous actors and surprise our followers even more with different content.” Photography by Dimitris Karampetsos
