Fresh Faces: Lacey London

LOS ANGELES—Lacey London was not the girl her school chums thought they would one day see performing in adult movies. The New Orleans native and youngest of three girls was heavily into cheerleading, basketball, volleyball and dance. People called her “Camera Girl” because the young photography buff always had a camera around her neck. During her high school days, Lacey was virginal. “I didn't have sex until I was 18, same for smoking weed!” Lacey says. “I wasn't as pretty as I am now, but I had the same boyfriend for all four of my high school years and probably would've either dated him through college or married him, but we never had sex and I wasn't going into college without sex.” She’s certainly made up for lost time. Lacey made her adult industry debut in 2017, finding her way in front of the camera when she took a job as a personal assistant at a porn agency in Las Vegas. Eventually she had seen enough and just knew she could do better than what she was seeing. Similar to many Porn Valley scripts over the years, the assistant proves herself a real go-getter and is ready to show the world how she can fuck. “While working as a personal assistant, I saw girls who completely sucked or couldn't show up on time, the sex wasn't exciting, etcetera, and I thought to myself, Hmm, I could do this so much better and I’d actually enjoy it!” she says. “I went to the owner and told him I wanted to be repped. Within three days I had my first shoot with Naughty America lined up. The rest is history!” Sadly, not everyone was excited about this turn of events as she was. Family and friends weren’t united in their celebration for the newly-minted porn star. “In the beginning everyone shunned me,” she says. “I lost all of my childhood friends, lost my boyfriend at the time and my family wasn’t happy at all. When I first told my mom, she waited like a week to answer back and it was a long paragraph about she didn't approve and doesn't understand why I would do something like this.” Lacey had just graduated college for her ESL/TESOL degree and had spent the previous year interning at a school. She quickly realized that the teachers didn’t make the kind of money Lacy needed for the lifestyle she wanted, and the fact that dealing with so many children living in poverty was something she just couldn’t handle on a daily basis. “I remember paying for kids’ lunches because their parents didn’t send them any money for food, buying clothes and shoes for kids I saw wearing clothes with holes or shoes falling apart,” Lacey says. “So not only was I not able to remotely live the life I wanted, but I also had to watch kids who couldn't either.” She made her debut for Naughty America’s 2 Chicks Same Time line, working with Chanell Heart and Johnny Castle. She loved it, though it turned out that the shoot wouldn’t necessarily be representative of her experience later. “I thought that it was just regular sex with a camera following you,” she says. “But now I realize that it’s the opposite! It's exactly like a regular set. There’s tons of lights, between 3-15 people on set, and you're always positioning yourself to the camera. You don't pick who you have sex with, but no worries, they usually pick hot guys so the chemistry is there.” Today Lacey is repped by East Coast Talent. She lives in Denver, a surprise move after falling in love with the Mile High City. Now she’s thinking of moving to Las Vegas to be closer to the action. With most of 2020 shooting being cancelled and her living in Colorado, most of her content has been available on OnlyFans. She says in January that will change as she begins releasing content on sites like Pornhub, Xvideos and ManyVids. Lacey loves the industry, which gives her the opportunity to live the lifestyle she desires and also to live out fantasies that might occur rather less frequently away from porn sets. “I love getting my makeup done, hair done, in a beautiful mansion where I'm about to have some nasty sex. I love that I’m able to try out fantasies that would never try alone like a gangbang. Can you imagine trying to find five men you feel comfortable fucking all at once? Ha!” Earlier this year, Lacey became the favorite of the hardcore anime-loving crowd. She has been open about her anime obsession, telling Fleshbot that “I haven’t watched a movie in so long. I spend most of my time watching anime” – instantly endearing herself to millions of anime fans. “I love the big boob, gun-toting, super humans anime has,” Lacey says. “I'm obsessed with the bimbo, domme vibes a lot of the female characters give me and what I think I'd be and look like if I were a cartoon character. I'm pretty sure I spend around four hours a day watching different types of anime. Most of the anime I watch is adventure, dark humor, post-apocalyptic genres.” Some of her biggest shoots were for Penthouse, Brazzers, New Sensations, Zero Tolerance (“love Mike Quasar”) and her favorite, All Black X. Her spectacular foot worship scenes have been particularly noted, but what she really hopes to find in her future is a role in a feature. “I'd really love to do a porn movie! You know, the scenes shot as movies with real sex scenes in it, like how they used to do in the ’80s? OMG that's my biggest dream to do.” Aside from developing as an adult starlet, Lacey would like to get more involved in sex worker advocacy programs. Providing sex workers with legal help, tax info, mental health as well as creating businesses with the money they make. “We come across so much money in such as short amount of time, and yet a lot of us don't have our finances, our life together. I want to help with that in any way possible.” Asking her advice for performers looking to get into the industry turns out to be the perfect follow-up to her thoughts on performers getting their money straight. “Save, save, save,” she says. “This money doesn't last forever so make the most of it. Take this as serious as you would take any other job. Create your own content, there's a finite number of companies to shoot for, so you must create your own residuals.
