AVN Nominated Director Cosmo Liveti Signs With SINematica

DUBLIN—Director Cosmo Liveti, whose Sicalipsis collected five nominations for the 2021 AVN Awards including Best Directing - Foreign Production for Liveti, signs on with fledgling studio SINematica on the eve of its first anniversary to helm a new line of erotic shorts. Commented SINematica's head of production, "We needed someone with an acute cinematographic eye, but also able to lead an adult X-rated project with passion and a high hardcore level; Cosmo fits this perfectly."  Sicalipsis, a big-budget thriller shot on Ibiza island, premiered on Canal+ last year and also received 2021 AVN nods for Best Editing (also for Liveti), Best Cinematography (for Herbert West), Best Soundtrack and Best Foreign Production. "Getting nominated was such an honor," Liveti said. "I was really overwhelmed to be part of a competition bringing together the best artists in our industry. "Now, I get the unique chance to be signed by SINematica, which is a brand I follow since their first steps," he continued.
