Friends Remember Gay Adult Pioneer Scott Masters

LOS ANGELES—Legendary director Scott Masters, who founded Studio 2000, Nova Studios, and In Touch magazine — and pushed the boundaries of what it meant to publish male nudity — died late last year in a nursing home in Bloomington, Ill. He was 86.
