'Love Emergency' Set for National Broadcast on Showtime

LOS ANGELES—Love Emergency, the 2020 AVN Best Comedy, is set for a name change and a national broadcast debut on Showtime this Friday, December 11. The award-winning movie from writer/director Will Ryder and Adam & Eve Pictures will emerge nationwide as Erotic Emergency. “This is really quite an honor seeing our original story and our amazing cast appear on Showtime. This is as big as it gets in this business,” stated Ryder. The movie which stars Riley Steele, Misty Stone, Kenzie Reeves, Jake Adams and funnyman Tommy Pistol in a cast of 27, has swept the best comedy categories at all the major adult movie award shows this year including AVN and XRCO. The name change is just part of the Showtime touch. “I like the new name even better than the original,” stated co-producer Scott David. “Hey, we’re talking Showtime here they can do what they want,” Ryder joked.   Pistol plays an unemployed panhandler living in his mom and redneck stepdad's basement who is forced to apply for a janitor position at the local hospital, but when his idiot friend hacks the computer, he mistakenly gets hired as an emergency room trauma surgeon and quickly falls in love with a beautiful nurse. His desire to ‘stay employed’ leads to havoc and insane times. The fairly safe-for-work YouTube trailer is available here. Joining Riley Steele and Tommy Pistol are Kenzie Reeves, Christy Canyon, Nia Nacci, Liv Wild, Savannah Sixx, Sarah Vandella, Misty Stone, Astrid Star, Sunny Lane, Edyn Blair, Lucky Starr, Rachael Cavalli, Bambi Doll, Brad Armstrong, Jake Adams, Frank Bukkwyd, Chad White, Brad Newman, Rusty Nails, Brad Sterling, Jack Vegas, James Bartholet, Ryan Mclane, Blake Bensin and Deanzy as the paramedic. “This is a hilarious, sexy movie that just won at XRCO last week so to see it slated for broadcast on Showtime is really rewarding,” stated Adam & Eve’s head of production Rachael V. Love Emergency is from Adam & Eve Pictures and will first be broadcast on TMC which is Showtime’s ‘The Movie Channel’ Friday, December 11 at 1:50 a.m. with rebroadcasts to come.     Contact Peter Reynolds at Plaid Bag Media 818.332.2275 #701 [email protected] for broadcast/VOD licensing and DVD sales for this and all Adam & Eve movies.
