Fresh Faces: Nala Brooks

LOS ANGELES—It’s hard to say what’s bigger, Nala Brooks’ natural DD breasts or her smile, though most might be overwhelmed by her personality. The newly-minted porn performer originally was scooped up by iconic World Modeling after being recruited through Twitter. On the heels of the agency's closure in August, Brooks is booking exclusively through East Coast Talents. The former topless dancer had been posting to OnlyFans and wanting to get into porn, but she wasn’t sure how to make the jump. Now the 23-year-old redhead from Arkansas is making an impression with a confidence that is undeniable. On her own since she was 17, she’s learned to fend for herself and to surround herself with like-minded people. Not surprisingly, a lot of folks in Arkansas were more than a little shocked to start seeing her having sex on the internet. Nala is unconcerned with their opinions. “Being from Arkansas and in the porn industry can be frustrating,” she says. “Only because people are soooooo closed minded and naive. Most people here, this is all they know. They don't get out and travel, meet new people, and take in new experiences. Most people here have a day-to-day routine they live by and that's all they know. My whole life I have always had a small circle and every single one of them have loved and supported my decision since day one, because they know it makes me happy. “I am an extremely open-minded person, so I only surround myself with the same. I have always had the type of mindset, if you don't pay my bills, you can't tell me shit about the way I pay them. And considering I have paid my own bills since 17, their judgment on my career decisions do not matter to me.” That strength might seem surprising from a young lady who has such an open personality, but as a pretty girl with an amazing body who seems so approachable but has been on her own for so long, it’s easy to see how she has had to toughen up a bit. Being a stripper probably contributed a tad, too. She knows what she wants and seems to be pretty dang good at getting it. She’s shot her first scene and, perhaps surprisingly or perhaps not, she was not the least bit nervous about the sex. It was the crew that she thought might be the problem. “I absolutely loved it!” she says. “The only thing I was nervous about was the people I was working with, like the energy. I didn't know if these people were going to be dicks and make the whole time on set miserable or anything. But they were literally so wonderful, I have worked with them again multiple times now because I just love how great they are and I have so much fun with them every time. But as far as nervous for the scene, not at all. Sex comes very natural to me, so I didn't worry.” Ah, to be young and gorgeous and treading fearlessly in the world! It’s something she seems to have mastered and when fans see her scenes there’s no question this is a woman who is control of her destiny. She’s been a Certified Nursing Assistant for years and studying for her Registered Nursing degree, though that might take a backseat while she’s doing the dirty things that four out of five medical professionals consider risky. But she has other goals—like being a porn star—and she knows that the window of opportunity is not wide, despite how obsessively she takes care of her body. “I want to make a career out of the adult industry,” she says. “I want to be one of the faces you instantly recognize. The way I see it is, I am not going to look like this forever. I take really good care of myself fitness-wise, but still, I want to do the most while I can. I love the work, being on set, constantly working with and meeting new people, the energy, and obviously the sex. I want to constantly give it my best and eventually get to where I am winning awards and being on carpets. I want all the recognition, and to have a name you definitely recognize.” She definitely has the looks, personality and magnetism to stand out—there is an energy about her that makes people want to be around her and that will certainly help as she moves ahead with her jizz biz career. But what of the career as an RN? Won’t porn on the resume (and especially on the internet!) make it a little—or a lot—trickier getting into the field? Well, yeah, maybe. “The thought of having trouble finding an RN job as a porn star has crossed my mind,” she admits. “The way I see it, I am pursuing my RN because I have a heart for helping people. That is why I was a CNA for so many years. And if you are going to hold someone back from being able to do that because of a career decision, then I don't want to work for you anyway. I know what is meant for me will find me, so if my job application is getting denied at places then that only means there is somewhere better I am supposed to be.” Until then, she’s going to focus on her adult career, one where all of her previously-outlined attributes will be celebrated and debated. One of the many questions will inevitably be, what’s her greater physical attribute: the six-year-old titties or the big, inviting smile. Nala is betting on her smile. “It’s hard to know if my smile or my tits are what I get the most attention from,” Nala says. “Even though I dance, and I'm constantly getting attention on my boobs, it's like the smile is the main seller for people, you know? And I have had a huge smile my whole life that people have commented on—the tits did not come until age 17.
