Michael Stefano Answers Fans’ Burning Questions in Reddit AMA

LOS ANGELES—Michael Stefano won AVN’s Male Performer of the Year award back in 2004, and continued in one of porn’s most active and consistent careers for another eight years after that, before he decided to walk away from the industry. But this summer the legendary performer returned to action.   On Friday, he faced down his fans — virtually — explaining why he made his comeback, and providing bluntly honest answers to other questions as well in an “Ask Me Anything” session hosted by PervCity on the online message board Reddit. “I guess I’ve lived a pretty interesting life and people want to know more about it,” Stefano told AVN prior to the AMA event. “The last few months, getting back into porn, have been pretty amazing. I can’t wait to see what they’re going to ask.” As would be expected, one of the first questioners asked Stefano to explain why he decided to return to porn. “All an accident,” Stefano replied. “Blame COVID. I was in the States visiting family when the lockdown happened, so I couldn't and still can't go back to the Philippines.” Asked what he’s been doing in the ensuing eight years, Stefano put it simply: “Eat, sleep, fuck, repeat in Southeast Asia.”  But one fan wanted to know “the biggest difference” between his sex life in Southern California, and in the Philippines. “In SoCal, I get paid to fuck and I fuck for an hour,” Stefano replied. “In the Philippines, I fuck for 10 minutes max.” Many of the questions, however, were the sorts of queries that might be expected from fans, whose curiosity about what it’s “really like” to take part in a porn shoot seems insatiable. One fan wanted to know if it was true that male performers rely on Viagra, or even injectable drugs to guarantee durable erections while shooting scenes. Stefano acknowledged that he did, in fact, use Viagra — “but many others do inject.” But, going into even more detail, he addressed the same fan’s question on whether it feels “weird” to take part in double vaginal or anal penetration scenes. “It doesn't feel weird at all,” Stefano replied. “During double anal or double vag, I'm not thinking or even really aware of another dick, what gets me horny is thinking about how we're stretching the fuck out of her hole and that's what gets me off.” Other topics included the craziest and funniest things that ever happened during one of his shoots — which turned out to be an earthquake, and a very loud fart, respectively.
