Studio20 Ready to #CamForCharity Saturday, Sept 5

The third edition of Studio20’s #CamForCharity event marking the International Day of Charity will take place tomorrow, Saturday September 5.

Throughout the day, managers, trainers, engineers, marketing specialists and the entire Studio20 administrative staff from its 33 headquarters in Romania, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the United States and Colombia will be live on the new platform Stars.Live, with all earnings being doubled by Studio20 and donated to children and mothers in need, the company said in its announcement.

“This year, we chose three campaigns instead of one,” said said Studio20 Public Relations Manager, Andra Chirnogeanu.

The three organizations benefitting from this year’s #CamForCharity event are Integrated NYC, an organization run by young people in New York, fights for equality and integrates students of all colors; Fundacion Patronato Maria Auxiliadora, a Colombian foundation that aims to help and prevent domestic violence against women in Colombia during Covid-19; and Fundacion ABLE, a project that aims to reduce the digital divide of children and their families, providing access to internet connection and technological devices to reduce school dropout and loss of academic knowledge during the COVID-19 crisis.

In its announcement, Studio20 said the idea for #CamForCharity “a training method to better understand the challenges faced by a non-nude video chat model, and then it turned into a challenge adopted by all franchise studios.” Having the full support and management team involved is an important part of the effort, showing solidarity with the models and broadcasters involved.

“It is essential to show our colleagues that we are with them,” Chirnogeanu said. “We appreciate their work and support them in the daily fight against prejudice, discrimination, bigotry, and hypocrisy. #GirlsFromStudio20, we are proud of you. See you on Saturday on stars.live.”

The #CamForCharity event is part of the larger active role Studio20 takes in the community, which is also represented in its garbage collection campaign with Let’s Do It Romania and supporting children with autism spectrum disorders.
