Tickle.Life Partners with ‘Do You’ App to “Promote Healthy Sexual Discovery”

SAN FRANCISCO – Tickle.Life, a site which describes itself as the “world’s first community-based discovery platform for sex and sexuality,” announced today a collaboration with the sexual discovery and wellness app “Do You”, saying that the two female-led sex tech startups are “coming together to broaden their reach of sex and sexuality related content for their readers.”

In its announcement, Tickle.Life said the partnership between the platforms will “empower their users to access insightful and entertaining content from Tickle.Life and its 350+ support resources which comprise of celebrated sexual wellbeing professionals,” adding that Do You “promotes healthy sexual exploration and interactive erotica and its user base consists of people who are looking to explore sexuality.” The announcement added that through the partnership, Do You users now will be “able to access that exclusive content previously available only on Tickle.Life.”

“I am thrilled to have joined hands with Do You, a unique interactive app which puts females first and it is an inclusive app for LGBTQIA people who usually do not get much choice at such platforms,” said Shakun Sethi, Founder and CEO of Tickle.Life. “Our purpose here is to co-promote the content from our collaborators and help them reach a larger group of people and this partnership is an extension of our intent to bring the SexTech community together and help in normalize the sex and sexuality related talk.”

“We connected with Shakun over a shared vision to normalize sexual wellness and exploration,” said Meli Chamorro, Co-Founder of Do You. “There is still some stigma associated with the sextech and femtech space, especially for female founders. So, it’s important to ban together and support one another.”

Elayne Safir, Co-Founder of Do You, said “we want to take the shame out of conversations about sexual wellness and pleasure.”

“We all believe that our sexuality is an important part of our overall well-being and an essential part of self-care,” Safir added. “By joining forces with Tickle.Life, we are excited to be growing our community and introducing our audience to Tickle.Life’s fantastic content.”

Tickle.Life is based in San Francisco, California, and was founded in 2019 by Sethi and Parag Gupta, the company’s CTO. The platform “creates an ecosystem for all sex positive people across the world by supporting sexuality exploration, sexual and mental wellness, LGBTQIA+ communities and sex education,” Tickle.Life said in its statement.

Do You is a New York-based, female-founded company that the founders say is “on a mission to modernize and normalize sexual wellness and exploration.” The app features a variety of interactive stories, from romantic to more risqué, developed by professional romance and erotica writers, allowing people to customize their own erotic or romance fantasy.

The adventures unfold via simulated texts from fictional chat partners. Users get to choose from various storylines, the gender they want to play as and play with, the tone of the story – from “romantic to racy” the company says – and decide where each story will lead.
