Gamma Films Group to Debut “Cougar Queen” at YNOT Summit

In a joint announcement with YNOT Events, Gamma Films Group announced today the Adult Time studio Girlsway will debut its new feature Cougar Queen: A Tiger King Parody, at the upcoming YNOT Summit at 5pm EST on July 22. The screening is a private premiere, so details on how to access and watch the movie will be provided only to registered attendees of the YNOT Summit.

“We’re really excited to be working with Gamma Films Group and Girlsway on what I believe is the first adult film premiere ever tied to a virtual online conference,” said Connor Young, Co-owner and CEO of YNOT. “I can’t wait to see the film, and I’m especially excited that we’ll all get to hang out together and chat while we watch. This is going to be a fun and unique experience for the industry and a great way to finish off three days of informative discussion sessions and industry networking at the 100% virtual YNOT Summit.”

According to the studio, the parody film tracks the central conflict of the original Tiger King documentary series. In Girlsway’s reimagining of the Netflix hit, a documentary crew “interviews three lesbian porn tycoons about a vicious rivalry spanning years.”

“There’s Jill Erotic, the outrageous and unhinged owner of GW Films whose wild and reckless antics make her as fascinating as she is destructive to those around her,” Girlsway explained. “Fate sparks a bitter feud between her and Cheryl Badsin, founder of ‘ethical’ porn company Big Clit Rescue and crusader against pornstar mistreatment – unless it profits her, of course.”

Mirroring the long-running feud between Tiger King Joe Exotic and his nemesis, Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin, the ongoing battle between Jill and Cheryl “skyrockets their companies to fame and notoriety, much to the frustration of dotcom mogul Dot Scandal, whose own company C.O.U.G.A.R.S.’ long-standing monopoly gets threatened by the rise of these two new players.”

Jill, Cheryl, and Dot are joined in Cougar Queen by a colorful cast of characters who remark on the roller-coaster saga of shady business practices, personal scandals, rumors, desperation and downfall that surrounded the (fictional) porn industry for almost a decade. Pyramid schemes, sex cults, seduction plots and missing spouses are just the tip of the iceberg as the documentary digs deep into what went down between these all-powerful cougars who saw the whole world as their prey

Director Casey Calvert said working on the Cougar Queen parody “was a great experience.”

“As a director, it was a challenge learning how to work via Zoom, but my performers were all incredibly patient with me and I couldn’t have done it without them,” Calvert added. “I think we made something very topical, very funny, and very sexy!”

The YNOT Summit is a 100% virtual conference presented by Chaturbate and targeted exclusively at adult industry professionals. The 3-day event runs from July 20-22.
