VR Bangers Aids Amsterdam Brothels With VR Headsets

The topic of coronavirus COVID-19 has recently been the main topic of discussion for pretty much all journalists and politicians around the world, with the virus killing more and more people every day, and further restrictions being introduced to counter its spread and to contain the global epidemic. However, in addition to the health consequences and human losses, there is another very important problem that has affected practically every country on the planet: the coronavirus is wreaking havoc not only on our health but also on our economy. Almost all branches of the market, especially micro and small businesses, are suffering huge losses as a result of the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. This applies to all types of professions in which there is close contact with people or group gatherings, thus affecting, among others, cinemas, theaters, and gyms as well as professions such as hairdressers, physiotherapists, coaches—and in particular, sex workers. Where intimate physical contact is involved, it's no wonder that both providers and customers are afraid to give or take advantage of services. Some VR porn movie creators are coming to the rescue though, offering a temporary solution to the crisis in Amsterdam's Red Light District—and possibly other prostitution havens in the future. VR Bangers has created a solution to help the sex industry in these hard times by sending out hundreds of cardboard headsets to the rental rooms in Amsterdam, which will allow people "in need" to get a chance to use those rooms without risk of getting the virus. It's got a side benefit as well: Producers will reach a whole new audience with their virtual reality product while at the same time helping in their own way and enabling people to have realistic sex in 3D VR without any danger of getting the COVID-19. The creators ensure that their VR porn scenes offer a level of intimacy similar to that of reality, because in virtual reality, users can virtually feel things such as kissing, whispering in the ears and all the other feelings that they get in real life and which are normally unavailable in regular two-dimensional porn. The situation in the Netherlands and Germany is worse than one might think. "Virus has caused fear and uncertainty among the estimated 100,000 to 200,000 sex workers in Germany, where prostitution was largely legalized almost 20 years ago," said Susanne Bleier Wilp, a German former sex worker and spokeswoman for the Association of Erotic and Sexual Services Providers, or BESD. "There are those who are withdrawing from the business entirely at the moment for safety reasons. Others are requiring that customers disinfect themselves—a measure that medical experts say is unlikely to effectively stop the spread of the virus during close physical contact." In the face of this situation, VR porn videos seem to be the ideal solution, as they provide the impression of having sex in real life, but without actual physical contact, exchange of physiological fluids or the risk of infection with the virus. The cardboard VR visors sent by VR Bangers are disposable, sterile and can be easily destroyed after the client uses them in a brothel. Also, manufacturers ensure that they are compatible with most modern smartphones and that users can watch virtual reality porn with them. "It is expected that people are going crazy at home! Honestly speaking, I think I've never been stuck at home for this long myself and I am glad that our VR porn videos actually allow getting transferred into a different part of the world," stated Daniel Abramovich, the CEO of VR Bangers. "Our company has VR experiences in the woods, hair salons, hospitals, restaurants, other countries… you name it! The bottom line is that we produced our VR sex in a lot of places that people miss the most right now." Apart from the VR goggles themselves, VR Bangers provides the brothel owners with free memberships on VR Bangers during these hard times for them to keep their businesses open and safe. The idea is to make people pay a small fee to use the room for their VR porn experiences and then throw away the VR headset after they are done. In this way, the producers want to help these businesses keep their rent paid up at a time when some of them have even opened crowdfunding campaigns to keep up. "Virtual reality, in general, can provide people with a gateway from 'the being stuck at home feeling'," added Abramovich. "Of course we don't do this completely altruistically, because we expect that this way we'll increase the awareness to those that had no idea what VR was before. Many people still don't have an idea of what virtual reality is, and now, while being stuck at home, they have the opportunity to use virtual reality technology for playing tennis, boxing, working out and, after every good workout, watching a great VR porn experience." As the ubiquitous depression is another negative consequence of the coronavirus, the VR Bangers solution may actually prove very effective. Not only will Red Light District brothel owners be able to receive at least partial support, but many of them—and their customers—will also get to know a whole new technology that they can use in their own homes to fight the feeling of loneliness. In these difficult times, the virtual world might be one of the last safe places to "escape," either to VR Bangers' world or any other social VR world, and even though it will not cure the depression or loneliness in 100% of cases, it could help at least for the time the user is inside the virtual experience.  To learn more about VR Bangers and its activities, visit its main page here. Additionally, the producers strongly encourage the brothel owners from countries with legal prostitution like Germany or Netherlands who are interested in cooperation to contact them over here.
