Pornhub Partners with Pineapple Support for Self-Care ‘Competition’

Pineapple Support is launching a “competition” with Pornhub to highlight the importance of self-care. The competition invites those in the adult industry to share their favorite self-care activities during the lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 outbreak across the world. Whose self-care tips, tricks and tactics will win?!

Pornhub will provide a $100 voucher which can be used to purchase merchandise from its online store to a random winner that will be selected on May 1st. The competition runs in conjunction with Pineapple Support’s self-care month throughout April, during which the organization will raise awareness around how self-care practices can be beneficial to mental health and wellbeing.

“We’re committed to our ongoing support of individual care and self-care, and we believe that a healthy community can only arise from when each individual member’s mental health is being cared for first,” said Vice President of Pornhub Corey Price. “Our global community is going through a crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic and we are working on making sure we can all take care of ourselves so that we can take care of each other. Let’s take the time to stay home, self isolate, and take care of ourselves.”

“We’re working to raise morale by asking people to share how you practice self-care,” said PIneapple Support Founder Leya Tanit. “Throughout the month of April we will also be sharing videos and blogs on self-care at home, including workouts, yoga, nutrition, breathing exercise and more. We would also like to encourage our followers to send in videos to help others to keep mentally and physically healthy during isolation/lockdown. Let’s help each other feel a little less alone.”

Pineapple Support was founded in 2018 by Tanit in response to losses in the adult industry from depression, addiction and other mental illnesses. The organisation, which is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit in the United States and a registered charity in the UK, has so far connected over one thousand adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost, therapy, counseling and emotional support.

Anyone that wishes to take part should follow @PineappleYSW and @Modelhub on Twitter, retweet the post below and share what you have done that day for self-care, using the hashtag #PineappleSelfCare. Up to one entry per day will be accepted during the month of April, and the winner will be announced on May 1st via the Pineapple Support Twitter.
