Alia Janine Styles Herself As 'The Quarantine Hero'

NEW YORK CITY—Alia Janine spent about eight years being fairly active in front of the XXX cameras, both betacam and digital, but her yen to pursue her dream of becoming a mainstream comedian took hold in 2014 and hasn't let up yet. The evidence? She's just released a short video on YouTube and her IGTV channel, "The Quarantine Hero." "I hope everyone is staying sane and safe!" Alia announced in an email to fans and old comrades. "I have been working on a fun sketch about being stuck inside and how it make us all a little stir crazy. The 100-second video, from her company Hardcore Comedy Entertainment, shows the lanky brunette "literally doing nothing" which includes cozying up on the couch with her dog, washing her hands, cleaning her apartment, reading The Zombie Combat Manual—and smoking a fair amount of pot, because what else passes the time better? "What will she gain? What will she lose? How much pot can she smoke?" a title card asks about halfway through the "action." The answer to that last one is, "Quite a lot"—and Alia Janine fans and others who enjoy short comedy skits can see it all here or here.
