YNOT Moves Cammunity, Cam Awards to March 2021, Plans Virtual Summit for July

AUSTIN, Texas – As residents in North America wisely continue to practice strict social distancing in response to the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, YNOT Events has decided to reschedule two of its signature shows that were initially planned for this summer, the company announced Thursday.

The YNOT Cam Awards and Cammunity model summit, originally scheduled for late July 2020, will now be pushed back to March of 2021. YNOT also announced it is currently planning a virtual YNOT Summit for July 2020, which will serve as an online complement to its live events.

“Rescheduling our in-person July events was the only reasonable call to make,” said Connor Young, CEO and co-owner of YNOT. “It might’ve been technically possible to continue with the events in late July, but the safety and mental wellbeing of all models, sponsors and business executives outweighs all other considerations at this time.  Plus, we’ve had our eye on late March since the departure of ‘The Phoenix Forum’ from the lineup of North American shows, so this just works out well all-around.”

Although Cammunity and the YNOT Cam Awards live events are now scheduled for March, an all-new virtual YNOT Summit in July will give the webcam and clips communities a fun and informative way to stay connected with their peers at a time when physical travel might not make sense.

As for the new dates for the live events, YNOT co-owner Jay Kopita said the move was a necessary one.

“There are a lot of shows currently clustered in the Fall of 2020, and we wanted to remove uncertainty and make things easier on our attendees and sponsors, so March was the best choice,” says Kopita.  “Meanwhile we’re looking forward to the online YNOT Summit in July, and then the triumphant return of our live US events in early 2021.”

Industry leaders, performers and executives interested in being a featured speaker at the July virtual summit should reach out to YNOT through its contact form at ynotsupport.com or through Twitter @ynotdotcom.
