Eldorado to Host Social Distancing Contest on Facebook

BROOMFIELD, Colo. – Adult product distributor Eldorado Trading Company has announced a Facebook contest to encourage social distancing and the health benefits of masturbation. The Social Distancing contest will be live on the Eldorado Facebook page on Thursday, March 26 and will run until the end of day.

According to Eldorado’s announcement, the contest’s ten winners will be randomly selected from qualified entries. The winners will be announced Friday, March 27 by 12:00 PM MT.

Each winner will receive a “Masturbation Care Package” – which Eldorado described as “a fun assortment of self-care products that facilitate self-pleasure.” Products included in the Masturbation Care Package were donated by manufacturers René Rofé, Pipedream, We-Vibe, pjur, Evolved, Nü Sensuelle, Topco, and OhMiBod.

In its announcement, Eldorado noted that “a recent Big Think article reviewed a few studies that show the positive effects of masturbation on human health and wellness.”

The Big Think article concludes that “our immune system is positively affected by sexual arousal and self-induced orgasm and promote even more research into the positive impacts of sexual arousal and orgasm.”

“While there are many things we need to do to keep our immune systems functioning at optimal levels,” the article added, “masturbation (or other means of achieving orgasm) has proven to have positive effects on the immune system as a whole.”
