FanCentro Offers Free DMCA Services to Influencers Affected by Content Leak

FanCentro announced today that it is offering “free DMCA services to any FanCentro influencer affected by the recent content leak” – an apparent reference to the ‘leak’ of content from the OnlyFans platform late last month.

As noted in the VICE article linked above, OnlyFans maintained that the “leak” was not a breach of any kind, but rather a matter of files that had been “curated from multiple sources, including other social media applications.”

Whatever the source of the ‘leaked’ content, FanCentro has extended an offer to assist adult influencers who were impacted by their content being distributed in the episode.

“While FanCentro itself remains secure and was not affected by the leak, the adult influencer network is offering to provide DMCA support and assistance for three months to those whose content was leaked illegally,” the company said in a release announcing the offer.

According to the company’s announcement, influencers on the platform whose content was included in the leak are “eligible for three months of DMCA protection free of charge.” The offer is “open to any FanCentro influencer affected, including new sign-ups” – but subject to certain eligibility requirements.

“To be eligible, adult influencers must have an active FanCentro account, with at least 20 sales made in the last three days,” the company said in its announcement. “For those new to FanCentro, the FC Feed must be activated, with three pieces of content uploaded, and at least one video uploaded to Clips on FanCentro. If requested, proof of being affected by the recent leak must be provided.”

Kat Revenga, VP of Marketing for FanCentro said it’s “extremely disheartening when a leak of this scope occurs because, for many influencers, this content is their livelihood.”

“When content they’ve worked hard to produce is subject to unauthorized use it’s a devastating loss,” Revenga said. “FanCentro wants to absorb some of the blow to the adult industry by offering our affected influencers free DMCA services, which will help keep their content safe.”

Once established on the platform, FanCentro said influencers should “contact our support team via live chat or send an email to support@fancentro.com.” The support team will then help influencers get started on FanCentro as well as with the DMCA protection services (which are offered through DMCA Force).
