Fresh Faces: Halle Hayes

Halle (pronounced "Holly") Hayes was an independent model, "and then it turned nude, and I got curious about the industry, and then I started dancing and I moved to Vegas to dance." The modeling was through websites, and at one shoot she decided to take something off in front of the camera: "I was really comfortable with the photographer, and he was really professional, and he was Italian, so maybe that helped." She danced in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, combining photo shoots and dancing gigs, and then moved to Las Vegas to dance, "but I make more money with porn now." She started shooting her own content ("A lot of solo stuff, some boy/girl") because "stripping taught me to be more business-savvy: I had to get my stuff out there" and she came to Los Angeles to shoot. "I went back to Vegas to dance, but I got called back to L.A. more than I thought. I thought this could be a real thing." The transition to professional shooting "felt kind of natural. It as like it was supposed to be." Asked about her best scenes so far, she mentions a couple. When she shot for Devil's Films with Zac Wild for I Like Black Girls 8, Hayes says, "The crew was fun, make-up artist was really nice, location was gorgeous—in the hills somewhere—Zac was really professional, super-sweet. There was a lot of oil. It was fun." She also enjoyed shooting with Lucas Frost in Sharing The Bed for Brazzers. "Lucas Frost is super-hot and it was amazing, amazing sex. The whole crew were fun." Hayes likes "everything" about the industry: "I like being on set. I like seeing how everything comes together. Walking in, getting hair and make-up done. You talk to the crew, you meet your male talent, you make these personal connections. Just seeing everything come together is really fun." Her first experience at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo was in 2019, in a cam booth. "It was cool. The first tine I saw porn stars in person. Kira Noir, Daisy Ducati,” she said. And it made her want to come back. Hayes is also a fan of mainstream independent movies, and her words to live by are "Shoot for the moon, and if you miss you'll land among the stars."
