Girlfriends Films Releases Serene Siren's SciFi ‘Alien Rhapsody’

VALENCIA, Calif.—All-girl adult film studio Girlfriends Films generally plays it safe by delivering the various types of girl/girl action it knows its fans love—but now, the company has announced the release of its first full-length feature of 2020, Alien Rhapsody, a sci-fi thriller written and directed by up-and-coming director Serene Siren. The new feature is currently available on the Girlfriends Films membership website, and on DVD in stores nationwide where adult films are sold. This special project is the first of its kind for the all-girl studio. Produced by B. Skow, and with camera work by Mickey Charms and Marcus London, the full-length scripted paranormal sci-fi feature film is a departure from the typical Girlfriends fare, but with the signature elements of lesbian sex that its fans appreciate. “It was incredible, the teamwork and the dedication from the crew,” said Siren. “We were in a freezing cold warehouse with nothing but a propane heater. There was a lot going against us.” Lacy Lennon takes the lead role of the movie, playing a “tortured young woman with gender identity issues,” according to the director. “Lacy was so perfect at this role, it was mind-blowing how well she personified my script.” Cast members also include Charlotte Sins, Diana Grace, Emma Starletto, Vina Sky, Veronica Kirei, and Eva Long. Director Siren additionally has a non-sex role in the film. “The girls really toughed it out until all hours of the morning," Siren stated. "The script was my first serious one. By the end we had created amazing groundwork for the whole movie. I love the ending.” In late February, Girlfriends posted a sneak peek of the trailer for Alien Rhapsody, a 25-second clip posted on the Girlfriends Films YouTube channel and promoted on Twitter. Shortly following the teaser was the premier of the full Alien Rhapsody trailer at Fleshbot exclusively, and members-only early access to the four scenes comprising the feature film at the Girlfriends Films membership website.
