Fresh Faces: Paisley Bennett

"I liked it, because I was able to have a lot more free time to focus on what I wanted to do. I saw the money that could be made, and it was really fun. I was able to express myself, learn about my body and my sexuality, and have fun with other people. It opened my mind a lot. You learn what looks good, your angles, and you become more comfortable with your body. It was a good way for me to build confidence." After training to become a recording engineer, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue that career, and was an office worker at a record label when she started camming. "I found out I don't like being tech-y, sitting in a chair working on other people's music. I want to be more creative, for myself. Going through it, I learned what I like." She likes working in production because "I always feel really, really good after a scene and I was trying to figure out why, and I came to the conclusion that outside, in the world, we pretend that we're not on this planet together and we have this block; but when I'm on scene there's no barrier, because you're just getting naked and having sex with somebody. You let go of all that stuff that we have in-between people. You can be yourself and be with the other person. It allows for self-expression and freedom. I like to express myself in that kind of way. It's allowed. It's welcomed. I appreciate that because it's not, anyplace else. "When I'm camming, it can be pretty boring. First of all, I'm by myself, and it there aren't a lot of people in the chat room you're just waiting. On scene, you can laugh between scenes, and hang out, and interact with each other. I think it's a lot more fun." Bennett says her best scene so far is a three-way with Jewelz Blu and Jay Romero for Naughty America: "It was in the desert, and we had a tent and a cozy little area, a 'Burning Man' scene. Here was good energy between all of us. Very natural. It was fun, and the scenario and the outfits and the looks—all of it—looked really, really bomb." She has a tattoo of a magic wand on her hand. "As an artist, everything I create I'm pulling from myself. This is about 'my life is my creation': I create the magic in my life. Everything is my doing." Her words to live by come from Martin Luther King: "Hate is too great a burden to bear. I'd rather stick with love." Book Paisley Bennett through Motley Models.
