Diamond Foxxx Won’t Be Going On Crowdfunded West Point Cadet Date

The dreams of a West Point cadet to date porn performer Diamond Foxxx fell apart this week, when the still unidentified cadet was forced to shut down a crowdfunding campaign aimed at covering the star’s travel costs. The cadet hoped Foxxx—who is also known as cast member Stephanie Woodcock on the TLC reality TV show 90 Day Fiancé—would act as his date at the service academy’s annual Yearling Winter Weekend, according to a report on the military news site Task and Purpose. The cadet over the weekend posted a GoFundMe page that has since been deleted, titled  “Help Me Bring Diamond Foxxx To YWW.” “Diamond Foxxx agreed to go to Y dubs with me if I can pay for her plane ticket and hotel room,” the cadet wrote on his plea on the page. “Problem is I'm on the yuk payroll and I have no money. Please help a young boy's dream come true.” Second-year cadets receive a monthly stipend of about $1,000 to pay for their basic living expenses, because the academy keeps them so busy that holding any sort of a work-study job becomes impossible. Foxxx confirmed in a statement to AVN.com that the cadet was not making it up—she really had agreed to go on a date with him at the Winter Weekend. "I was very honored when a cadet from West Point contacted me and asked if I'd be his date to his formal,” the three-time AVN MILF Performer of the year nominee said. “I said that I'd be honored to go with him and I asked if he could cover my travel expenses. He agreed.” Foxxx also said that “coming from a military family, and being former military myself, I know that West Point is for the elite.” She described the cadet as “very kind and respectful.” “It would give us both memories to last a lifetime if I went so I couldn't say no,” she told AVN.com. The cadet’s GoFundMe page had raised $370 when he decided to abandon the crowdfunding campaign. “I was advised by those with much higher rank than me to discontinue the campaign and inform the actress that I can no longer bring her,” the cadet said in a private message, published by Task And Purpose.  But the U.S. Military Academy Public Affairs Office pushed back on the cadet’s claim, saying that he closed the page “after consulting with his peers.” Foxxx expressed disappointment that the date fell through. “My intent was just to go have fun. With nothing expected from either of us,” Foxxx told AVN.com. Photo courtesy of Diamond Foxxx/Rising Star PR
