WWE Star Who Made Homophobic Remarks May Have Once Done Gay Porn

A well-known professional wrestler with a history of making homophobic—as well as racist, misogynistic and generally offensive—online comments is allegedly “Mitch Bennett,” a former gay porn model with a profile on the Randy Blue site. Sullivan has yet to comment on the allegation. Sullivan’s name trended on social media last week, after users noticed what they said were similarities between the WWE star and “Bennett,” even circulating clips from hardcore videos online, according to the site eWrestling. "The photos and tweets quickly spread like wildfire, making Sullivan one of the top trending topics on Twitter," the wrestling site reported. But according to a Sports Illustrated report, in November comments made by Sullivan using online aliases on the site Bodybuilding.com contained anti-gay comments. The offensive remarks appeared between 2007 and 2013. In one such comment, directed at NFL quarterback Philip Rivers, Sullivan wrote, “Philip Rivers = Crybaby bitch and is extremely gay. Most of California, especially southern cal, is gay. Fits well. Hell ‘Philip’ is a gay name in itself!” An Internet Adult Film Database page for “Mitch Bennett” lists two titles, both dating from 2009. According to information on the site, one of the titles involves Bennett in a two-man scene, while the other includes only a solo performance. According to Sports Illustrated, Sullivan did not limit himself to homophobic remarks, also indulging in racism and sexism—even posting crude remarks about WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, the daughter of the wrestling promotion’s owner, Vince McMahon, and his wife, Linda McMahon, who ran the Small Business Administration from 2017 to 2019, appointed by Donald Trump. In another online remark, he said, “it seems like white people are more willing to take responsibility of their own lives than blacks and Hispanics, who are all for government hand outs.” After the comments surfaced, Sullivan—who is currently sidelined from the WWE with a knee injury—was fined $100,000 by the wresting organization. He also issued an apology, claiming his past remarks, “do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today.” Photo By Wikimedia Commons Shared Account
