Georgia Man Arrested for Watching Porn in an Applebee’s

Thomasville, GA – Though there’s nothing wrong with gearing up for the end of the decade with a little adult content, maybe don’t indulge in a booth at your local chain restaurant?

According to reports from WRDW.com, the Thomasville Police Department (located in Thomas County, Georgia) “arrested a man for watching porn and fondling his genitals at an Applebee’s restaurant” on Friday, December 27.

Police said they were dispatched to the restaurant around 9:30 pm. Employees and customers told police that they saw the man — one, Timothy Dugan — watching porn on his phone while touching himself.

Now, at least Dugan was watching on his phone, versus something with a larger screen. Regardless though, some of the customers in the restaurant were under the age of eighteen. While consenting adults watching age appropriate content is fine, exposing young people to material intended for adults is not.

According to the report, police stated that the Applebee’s employees made the man leave and called police. Inexplicably, when they arrived to the scene, police found Dugan hiding in a nearby bush. Like, why stay there?

Dugan was charged with indecent exposure (fair) and child molestation (hmm?). He is being held at the Thomas County Jail without bond.

Though this incident technically happened in 2019, here’s figuring 2020 will be rife with men acting sexually inappropriately in public spaces, thereby somehow giving porn a bad name.
