Forward Motion With Britney Amber

Britney Amber is featured in the December issue of AVN magazine. Click here to see the digital edition. Photos from Cherry Pimps, courtesy Britney Amber. After a porn career with more than 800 credits, Britney Amber is showing no signs of slowing down, with movies, feature dancing and a web presence competing for her time. She recently turned 33, has been an adult star since 2008 and a dance attraction for almost a decade. She stars in the much-promoted The Motor Bunny Club for Adam & Eve. “I got three scenes and every one has the Motor Bunny in it.” And she was one of the all-star cast of Marc Dorcel’s 40th Anniversary Orgy. “They had their whole French crew come over here ... I was so proud to be a part of that.” Amber still lives in the town where she was born, Beaumont, California, for most Los Angelenos an essential rest stop on the way to Palm Springs. She still makes the two-hour commute on the 10 freeway to work in Porn Valley.  Her career as a sex worker began at Nevada’s Moonlite Bunny Ranch. She was motivated after watching the HBO series The Cathouse while working the graveyard shift as an auditor for a hotel. She contacted late owner Dennis Hof on MySpace (“this was back in the MySpace era”) and he told her to come on by. She worked there for three years before debuting in porn. “I left the Bunny Ranch, I think in 2010. Once I started doing movies I realized I liked doing that better. I could do my scene and then go home and sleep in my bed the same day ... I remember my first month I was working every single day shooting, and I was still working at the Bunny Ranch too.” She laughs. “I was a busy beaver!” Of all the movies she did, her favorite was Barb Wire XXX for DreamZone, released in 2012. “The box cover was amazing, so gorgeous! It was so legit, it was even better than the original Barb Wire. ... It was so much fun to do.” Currently, her only problem seems to be that she’s too much in demand. “I’m turning down stuff I would really love to do for stuff that I’m not really enjoying. So if I had to pick I would do movies more than anything. You have to do things like appearances to keep your name up and stay relevant with fans, so that’s why I want to keep feature dancing in my career.” She also figures on the Internet. “Cherry Pimps still does my website. I do live shows on there.” And she has a YouTube channel where she puts up “story times about being on set or at the Bunny Ranch or behind the scenes on set or at expos.” Britney is all about forward motion. “I’m so grateful that my career has had this big resurgence in the last couple years. It keeps goin’ up and up and up and up. It’s like, Don’t stop, keep goin’ up!” Find her online at BritneyAmber.com or follow her on Twitter (@brittney_amber) and Instagram (britney_amber).
