Bella Rose Announces 'Bella & The Beast'

LOS ANGELES—Adult star Bella Rose is making her producing and directing debut with Bella & The Beast, which will be available on November 15. Rose, who started her porn career in November 2015, tells AVN she shot the four-scene short film in her hometown in North Carolina. While Bella & The Beast does include hardcore sex, it also covers some of Rose's personal story, exploring her real-life struggles with her career choice juxtaposed with her conservative background.  “I’m the beast as well,” Rose says, adding there is "a dark vibe" to the movie. “It’s like me fighting myself because I’m a Christian; I’m southern; and porn goes against everything I believe in. But there’s another side of me—like a multiple personality where I’m open-minded and sinful and seductive and sexy.” Rose continues, “The film is very sexual and there’s light boy/girl and hardcore girl/girl. It’s not against porn and it’s not for porn. It’s kind of finding beauty in the madness. It’s not really like a porn video, per se. It’s a film that I’ve been working on—directed by myself with cam girls I know—and it’s mostly about me and explaining my story.” Rose says the movie reveals how she grew up in a trailer park and started going into online chat rooms pretending to be older when she was underage. “And starting to be scandalous and acting way older than I actually should’ve been acting,” she says. “I was just a sweet country girl who goes to church on Sundays and had never been out of my small town. Then it was my first time traveling on a plane and the next day I arrive and I’m doing porn. The end is like me battling what I’m battling right now.” She says porn performing—she has more than 90 adult credits—formerly dating a notorious rapper, feature dancing and overall living a fast life have all been challenging for her. “I love what I do, but it’s also hard," says Rose, who adds she is not retired, but recently has been in North Carolina taking care of family matters.    Rose is working on wide distribution for Bella & The Beast but it will be available on BellasFellas.com.
